Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, located in Wuhan, is a full-time undergraduate college directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), focusing on economics, law and management. It has nine disciplines, including philosophy, literature, history, science, engineering and art. It was approved by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance and the Hubei Provincial People's Government and is a national "21KLOC-0/Engineering" and "985 Engineering Advantage Discipline".

As of February 9, 20 19, the school has more than 2,500 faculty members, including full-time teachers10.5 million, more than 300 professors, more than 580 associate professors and more than 200 doctoral supervisors. In addition, 4 people were selected as cultural celebrities in Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and the "Four Groups" talent engineering, 8 people were selected as the National Million Talents Project, and 1 1 people were selected as members of the Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education.

The school actively introduced excellent overseas teachers, and hired many professors from world-renowned universities as "Chutian Scholars" and "Wen Lan Scholars", including Miao Jianjun of Boston University, the first "Chutian Scholar" in the school, and Li Haitao, a professor at the University of Michigan, and invited robert mundell, the "father of the euro" and Clive ·W·j· Granger, a Nobel laureate in economics.
Michael Connolly, a professor at the University of Chicago, and other internationally renowned economists, as well as Liu Hongru, Li Yang, Wu Xiaoqiu and other well-known domestic experts and scholars came to our school to give academic lectures, and served as honorary professor, lecture professor or part-time professor.
