Freshman Season is a large-scale original campus documentary reality show jointly launched by Hunan Satellite TV and Shanghai Theatre Academy.
Star teachers David, Mabel Yuan, Huang Zhizhong and Liu Yun will lead eight audience members to study in Shanghai Theatre Academy. According to the professional learning needs of students majoring in Shanghai Opera Performance Department, the plan carries out a series of special study and assessment of artistic professional knowledge such as music, performance, figures and dance.
Program function
The plan innovatively targeted freshmen, and selected 8 auditees from thousands of young people with artistic dreams through layer-by-layer selection. 19 formal students were formally admitted to Shanghai Theatre Academy through the college entrance examination system, and a 20 15 performance experimental class was established.
In the college season of "Senior One", the screening system of drama was added. If the audience doesn't study hard, their chances of further study in drama will be fleeting. At the same time, the formal students who have obtained the admission qualification will also feel the sense of urgency and crisis of being caught up.
Through the fair competition between these two types of students, the program wants to tell the audience that youth is an uneven road, and frustration, choice and competition to eliminate thorns are also practical problems that freshmen need to face directly, so that dreams and reality can advance in parallel.
