Zhongshan Medical College of Sun Yat-sen University is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. It is a secondary college affiliated to Sun Yat-sen University and one of the first medical colleges in colleges and universities established by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health.
Zhongshan Medical College of Sun Yat-sen University was formerly known as Ji Bo yiguang founded by 1866, Guangdong Guanghua yiguang founded by 1908, and Guangdong Public yiguang founded by 1909. 1953 and 1954 merged to form South China Medical College; 1956, renamed Guangzhou Medical College; 1957, renamed Zhongshan medical college; 1985, renamed as Zhongshan medical university; 200 1, 10, the former Sun Yat-sen University and Sun Yat-sen Medical University merged into the new Sun Yat-sen University, and Sun Yat-sen Medical College of Sun Yat-sen University was established.
