In 2023, the national university rankings are: Tsinghua University ranked first, Peking University ranked second, Zhejiang University ranked third, Shanghai Jiaotong University ranked fourth and Fudan University ranked fifth.

1, Tsinghua University

Tsinghua University, abbreviated as "Tsinghua", is located in Haidian District, Beijing. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, ranking among the national "double-class", "985 Project" and "21/project". At present, Tsinghua University has become a comprehensive, research-oriented and open university with science, engineering, economics, management, law, teaching and medicine.

3. Zhejiang University

The predecessor of Zhejiang University, Qiushi Academy, was founded in 1897. 4. Shanghai Jiaotong University

Shanghai Jiaotong University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, which is built by Shanghai and directly under the central government. Ranked among the national "double first-class", "985 project" and "2 1 1 project". The school was founded in 1896 and moved westward in 1957, and it was divided into two parts: Jiaotong University, Shanghai and Xi 'an. 1959 the name of "Shanghai jiaotong university" was introduced in Shanghai.

5. Fudan University

Fudan University, located in Shanghai, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a university directly under the central government and a comprehensive research university. The school's predecessor was Fudan Public School founded by 1905. In 2000, Fudan University merged with Shanghai Medical University to form a new Fudan University. On 20 17, the school was selected into the list of "double first-class" construction colleges and universities.
