Tsinghua University College of Humanities was formally established on 20 12 101October 20th. The college consists of Chinese Department, History Department, Philosophy Department, Foreign Languages Department, Sinology Institute and Unearthed Literature Research and Protection Center. The history of Tsinghua University Institute of Humanities can be traced back to the Department of Chinese Studies of Tsinghua University Research Institute, which was founded in 1925. 1928, Tsinghua University established the College of Literature, and a number of famous scholars, such as Wang Guowei, Liang Qichao, Chen Yinque and Zhao Yuanren, gathered in Tsinghua campus successively. 1952, faculty adjustment, and the Law School of Arts and Sciences was transferred from Tsinghua. 1978 Tsinghua rebuilt the liberal arts, 1993 established the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. 20 12 the college of humanities and social sciences was abolished and the colleges of humanities and social sciences were established respectively.
