Sichuan University of Construction Workers 1953 originated from Chengdu Southwest Construction Engineering Administration Comprehensive Cadre School, and 1980 was upgraded to the first batch of adult colleges and universities with the approval of the former State Education Commission, belonging to Sichuan Huaxi Group Company. The school is located in Caojia Lane on the outskirts of Chengdu. The school held higher education at the level of planning and statistics in 198 1; 1992 became the first adult college in Sichuan province to pilot higher vocational and technical education, and set up higher vocational and technical education classes for industrial and civil construction majors. In 200 1 year, Sichuan University of Architecture Workers participated in the establishment of sichuan college of architectural technology, a full-time general institution of higher learning, and at the same time cancelled the establishment of Sichuan University of Architecture Workers.
