In the classic Water Margin, where did Lu finally become a monk?
There are three main theories about where Lu became a monk. The first is the description and narration of Shi Naian in Water Margin. The book mainly describes that Lu was forced to become a monk in Wutaishan Academy, which was also full of twists and turns.

One comes from the Water Margin. Due to the poor performance of Lu in Wutai Mountain, he came to Suoguo Temple in Kaifeng and left home after being recommended by the Supreme Elder.

There is also a saying that Shaolin became a monk when he was old. Because of my life experience, it seems that some previous life experiences are not really monks.

Lu Zhishen helped his father and daughter because he accidentally met them in a restaurant, so he had a beautiful talk with Lu Tiyu who punched Kansai with three punches. However, Lu Da was killed for this, but he was forced to escape. Finally, he was appointed by Zhao and went to Wutaishan Academy, but all of them were calculated interests. Although Luda became a monk, he never became a monk in his heart.

Then there was the Wutai Mountain in Sun Yat-sen University, because he felt cheated by everyone, but he didn't lose the sage's stationery. Although Lu was recommended by the wise elders to come to Suoguo Temple in Kaifeng, he was only a handyman in Suoguo Temple, not a real monk.

In the end, Lu became a monk in Shaolin Temple, because Lu learned a lot in junior high school in Shaolin Temple, which was of great help to Lu's later skills. Therefore, it can be said that Lu's real becoming a monk stems from the guidance and loyalty of Shaolin Temple to him since childhood.

Lu's meditation may have come to an end at the moment when Lu became a monk, but Lu didn't want to live in such a clean and inaction way. He didn't want to be fooled by others. Therefore, Lu was not a Buddhist at that time, and he didn't want to believe what the Buddhist disciples in the temple said.

Until later, after Lu successfully defeated Fang La with Sung River, he found that the confrontation between Liangshan and Fang La was waiting for mutual destruction on the shore from beginning to end, and then the DPRK began to make profits. Lu was finally dissatisfied with the Spyker, so he chose to go to Pagoda of Six Harmonies in Hangzhou to become a monk again, and then lived a quiet and inaction daily life.

Lu once passed Wutai Mountain in the process of chasing Fang La, visited the elder Zhizhen, and successfully captured Fang La according to the broadcast of the elder Zhizhen. But when Lu left, he also said four sentences to Lu, and they were all completed one by one in the future.

When Lu meditated by himself, he suddenly heard the sound of ebb and flow in Zhejiang, and mistakenly thought that the snare drum was playing again. After listening to his disciples, Lu woke up like a dream. The cave mentioned by his master Zhizhen is here, and Zhizhen elder has long anticipated the fate of Lu. Lu just had mixed feelings in his heart, but he was thinking about his first half of his life. Lu Zhishen finally realized what the wise elder said, and at the same time understood what he needed in his life, so he sat down to nirvana.
