Personal introduction: 2 1 Postgraduate Party, two undergraduate students, landing in Tianjin University, majoring in geography, with a total score of 385. Let me share my experience in preparing for the exam, hoping to help you!
First, about choosing schools.
In fact, the choice of Tianda as the ultimate target institution was not completely decided until July, and I have been swinging from side to side before that. I don't think colleges and universities are in a hurry to decide before formal registration. You can ask your seniors and sisters more, do you want to keep the pressure, and do you want to keep the trend of first choice and enrollment expansion. In the increasingly rolling postgraduate entrance examination situation, luck and strength are indispensable. If you choose not to be careful, all your efforts are likely to go to waste.
In the end, I firmly chose Beijing Normal University for the following reasons: First of all, there is no doubt about the strength of Tianda. In the fourth round of discipline evaluation, Tianda's geography major was rated as A+, with strong strength; Secondly, Tianda is one of the few schools that don't pay much attention to programming ability in the initial and second exams (of course, they still have to learn at the postgraduate level, but they don't learn much). My programming ability is not outstanding, even a little weak. To be on the safe side, I want to enroll in a school that pays more attention to theoretical foundation. Finally, Tianda 830 is a revised question type, which only appears once every three or four years, so the question type is relatively single and the overall difficulty of the question is not great. You can try.
Tianjin University, referred to as "Tianda" for short, located in Tianjin, is the first batch of national key universities directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is one of the national "double first-class" construction universities, the national "2 1 1 Project" and "985 Project" construction universities, and the China Academy of Engineering and the Ministry of Education 10 engineering education reform pilot universities. It has been selected into the national "Strong Foundation Plan", "20 1 1 Plan", "KLOC-0/1Plan", "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan", the national innovation experiment plan for college students, the national innovation and entrepreneurship training plan for college students, the national postgraduate project of building high-level universities, and the new engineering research and practice project. National College Students' Cultural Quality Education Base, the first batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, one of the eight old architecture institutes, and the founding members of China-ASEAN Alliance of Engineering Universities and China-China-Europe Alliance of Science and Technology Innovation Universities.
In addition, in the process of choosing a school, I suggest you think about what you are more concerned about, whether it is the geographical location of the school, the direction of professional research or the level of teachers, and then screen them one by one according to the degree of your concern.
Second, the public * * * part
The approximate schedule: I will start studying math in March, English in May (I have been memorizing words before), and politics in July/August.
1, mathematics
Mathematics is a very important course in the postgraduate entrance examination of science and engineering, which often leads to a large gap in scores. My mathematical foundation is relatively poor, and my advanced mathematics, linear algebra and probability theory are not very good during my undergraduate studies, so this part of my experience is more suitable for people with average mathematical level.
Mathematics learning can be roughly divided into three stages: foundation-brush-test paper. First of all, review knowledge points and lay a foundation from March to summer vacation; The summer vacation of 10 is an intensive stage, and a large number of problems are started; In the middle of June, 5438+ 10, and at the latest, 165438+ 10, I began to practice the test paper and began to check for missing parts.
About the basics: We began to review the basic knowledge of mathematics in March, and we should pay attention to the following points in this process: First, we should pay attention to forming our own knowledge system when learning the basic knowledge, specifically, we should know how many types of questions there are in each knowledge category, how difficult they are, and whether the frequency of investigation is high or not, rather than being too literal in the definition of concepts. In addition, we should do the corresponding basic exercises, and the feeling of doing the questions should be cultivated and maintained all the time, and we can't wait until the summer vacation. Finally, we must remember to review in time, and we must also review the high numbers on time when studying the probability theory of line generation. If you wait until the summer vacation to strengthen, you may not remember what you have learned.
About brushing questions: the whole process of learning mathematics needs to brush questions. If you just read books and don't do problems, you will easily become arrogant and incompetent. I mainly brush popular books on the market, such as lin li 880 (which is moderately difficult and closest to the real question) and 660 (which is specially filled in). In addition, some other materials can be added. For example, if you feel that your basic knowledge of a chapter is weak, you can print the title of the chapter "1800" or other exercises as a supplement to the exercises. The most important thing is to summarize the questions, and we must find out in time what will not be filled. In addition, we must jump out of the thinking of completely brushing every question. There are many problems in the market that can't be brushed at all. Just use your teacher's questions and add some other supplements.
Finally, the math course is very difficult. There are often seniors and sisters who say in their experience posts that if you don't have talent, don't study math, and quickly change to someone who doesn't take math exams. That's true. Mathematics is the longest front and the lowest cost performance. After the summer vacation, they will spend a lot of time studying mathematics every day, but it is very likely that they will not learn, understand or do problems. Or after studying for a year, I think I can do it. As a result, you can't do anything when you touch a real question or a simulation question, and your mentality is easy to collapse. Moreover, the difficulty of mathematics is unpredictable. For example, 2022 is an even year, which should be a little more difficult than in previous years. In fact, the difficulty of counting three has not increased significantly, but the multiple-choice question of counting two is particularly difficult, and you will fail if you are not careful. Therefore, if you decide to study mathematics, you should adjust your mind to face this challenge and study hard.
2. English
My basic English is ok, but not very good. I passed CET-4 and CET-6 once, but my score in CET-6 was not high. English is a relatively easy course. As long as you study step by step, everyone's score will not be too big. Its learning is mainly in three stages, word-reading-other.
About words: This is something that needs to be memorized every day from March to 12.24. There is no need to watch online word classes, which wastes time. You can recite 100-200 words on time every day by using the little red book or word memorizing software directly, so as to ensure that the vocabulary in the outline before the exam has passed 1-2 times. Of course, the more times, the deeper. I bought the little red book myself, but because it was too heavy, I couldn't get the library, so I changed it to software. The word limit of the software cost me 50 yuan, which is not bad.
About the real question: I began to do the real question slowly in May, and I did two articles every afternoon. The real questions need to be repeated several times, preferably more than two or three times, so as to feel the rule of the questioner. In addition, we should learn some reading methods appropriately, such as how to extract information from context and keywords to solve problems. Finally, when doing real questions, you don't have to read the whole article, as long as you can do the questions. It is best to try to figure out the structure and meaning of the article when answering questions. Remember to pick out the words you don't know in the real questions and recite them when answering questions, especially some high-frequency words and very useful words. I like the second interview.
About others: reading accounts for a large proportion in English, and other questions have relatively small scores, so it doesn't take too much time. Cloze can be done in summer vacation or in August and September. Other small sub-topics, such as seven to five, translation, subtitles, etc.,/kloc-you can learn after 0/0 months. Usually study and brush questions on weekends. 1 1 Start preparing the composition template, prepare and recite it early, and the subjective questions may not be very high.
3. Politics
Politics doesn't take much time, and summer vacation is completely in time. The materials I used were "1000" by Xiao Xiurong and "Reciting Notes" by Xu Tao. Lay a good foundation with Teacher Xu Tao, and then learn multiple-choice skills from Sister Leg. I memorized most of the questions of Xiao Lao and Leg Sister, and Xiao four shaw and Leg Four probably read them once.
It doesn't take much time for politics to reach the end of 10, but it takes two or three hours at most every day. /kloc-after the end of 0/0, we will brush the test papers on the market several times and start reciting big questions.
Third, the professional course part
Bibliography: physical geography (4th edition, Wu Guanghe, etc.), comprehensive physical geography (3rd edition, Cai Yunlong, etc.), human geography (2nd edition, etc.), economic geography (3rd edition, urban geography (2nd edition, Xu et al.), remote sensing. Introduction to resource science (history, etc.), disaster risk science (history, etc.), atmospheric science (Huang, etc.) and climate change science (Qin Dahe, etc.).
The examination form of "830" is compulsory+elective, and all majors are enrolled together, and a set of examination papers. Physical geography is a compulsory question, and multiple-choice questions include physical geography/remote sensing/geographic information/atmospheric science/resources and environment/human geography and other professional subjects. As long as you answer enough questions, this is why there are eleven books in its bibliography. When reviewing, you only need to look at the physical geography+professional reference books you have applied for. There are usually only two or three books. Of course, if you have spare capacity, you can study one more major, so there will be more choices in the answering part.
The review of specialized courses begins in the summer vacation, because the questions of 830 are basically short answers, discussions and noun explanations, so there is almost nothing to calculate, all of which are theoretical knowledge that needs to be understood and memorized, so you just need to constantly recite materials and textbooks, and check for missing and filling in gaps.
The second round of knowledge points is very painful, but as long as you stick to it, the third round will be much easier. In this process, to make good use of the real questions of previous years, there are often some repeated questions. In addition, you can look at the papers published by university teachers recently, and probably also look at the relevant knowledge points.
Fourth, about the second interview.
The second interview of Tianjin University is fair, and there will be no right or wrong. As long as you behave well, there will be no problem. However, observing the results of the re-examination of the initial test in recent years, we will find that the overall ranking is almost the same as that of the initial test, or there is only a small change, so the initial test is the most important. Similarly, if you enter the re-examination, but rank last, which is not within the scope of enrollment ranking, then the possibility of re-examination counterattack is relatively small. Unless you are sure to catch the teacher's attention in just 20 minutes and fully show them your Excellence, you'd better find a swap as soon as possible.
The 22-year re-examination is also online, and the focus of review is professional courses. We should firmly remember the knowledge points of the re-examination subjects, form our own answer framework and logic, prepare a Chinese self-introduction and an English self-introduction, and then prepare several comprehensive quality questions that are often tested. Generally speaking, it's not difficult. When preparing for the re-examination of specialized courses, we should also seize the research hotspots in recent years and ponder them carefully. The most important thing is self-confidence. Whether you like it or not, you should be calm and logical, so that even if the answer is wrong, you can get a score that is almost enough as long as it is not too outrageous. I suggest that you simulate the second interview every two days one week before the second interview, and make audio and video recordings, watch it repeatedly and strive for perfection.
As for the part of self-introduction, I will introduce my current basic situation, core achievements and ability accomplishment realistically, and say a few words about the other university in advance to reflect my understanding, and finally express my expectation of entering this university. Interviewers usually ask some related questions based on your experience, try to be positive and show your comprehensive ability. In addition, the university I interviewed also has self-introduction and question-and-answer sessions in English. I can prepare a version by myself, and then ask my English major friends to help me revise it. It is easy to master some basic vocabulary.
Five, emotional adjustment:
1, the timeline should not be too long, especially in the third year of high school. Generally, review is from March to April. If the timeline is too long, it will be tired;
2. Don't be too anxious, and give yourself appropriate rewards after completing your goals;
3. I didn't stop using my mobile phone or uninstall social software. Generally, I study 8- 10 hours a day, and last February 10 hours. Usually it doesn't mean that I only study and don't touch anything else. I didn't miss the Weibo and drama. I run about four times a week and occasionally play badminton to keep healthy.
Abstract of intransitive verbs
Postgraduate entrance examination is actually a comprehensive examination, which is not only an information war, but also a psychological war. When you walk out of the examination room in1February, you will find that this is just a simple exam, and what keeps you awake all night is the many meanings you have given it. So no matter what stage you review now, no matter whether you have a clear goal or not, don't worry too much, let alone ask too late. As long as you start now, it will be too late! Come on!
Finally, mentality is really important. You should have confidence in yourself and give yourself some encouragement every day. During the sprint, everyone was very anxious and nervous. Make a plan for yourself according to the review progress. The goal every day is to complete these plans, and you can give yourself some small rewards after the plan is completed. When you finish your daily tasks, you will feel full and relaxed. Steady mind, come on!
