Zhejiang International Studies University belongs to two universities. Zhejiang international studies university, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is the only public full-time foreign language college in Zhejiang Province, which is organized by the people's government of Zhejiang Province and based on foreign languages and literature.

Its predecessor was Zhejiang Teachers' Training School, which was established in 1955.
