Yunnan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general public higher vocational and technical college, which was approved by the Yunnan Provincial People's Government in document No.200466 on July/Kloc-0, 2004, and was formed by the merger of Yunnan National Defense Industry School, Yunnan National Defense Technician School and Yunnan Ordnance Workers College (including Yunnan Yi Xi Co., Ltd. Branch), and trained high-level applied talents to meet the needs of manufacturing and electronic information industries.
In July 2009, the People's Government of Yunnan Province approved the merger of Yunnan Radio and TV University to form Yunnan National Defense Industry Vocational and Technical College, and implemented the operation mechanism of two brands, one team and one legal person.
2010 On June 5438+00, the State Council approved Yunnan as one of the five pilot provinces (cities) to deepen the comprehensive reform of the education system and explore the construction mode of open universities. 201212 On 2 6 February, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming of Yunnan Radio and TV University as Yunnan Open University. On February 28th of the same year, 65438+ Yunnan Open University and Yunnan Credit Bank were unveiled, becoming one of the six universities in China and the only open university in central and western China.
