It is a multidisciplinary, open and comprehensive national key university campus jointly established by Shandong University and Weihai Municipal Government. 1 984165438+1October1,Shandong University and Weihai Municipal People's Government signed the Agreement on Establishing Shandong University Weihai Branch, and agreed to establish Shandong University Weihai Branch in Weihai. 165438+1October16 The Ministry of Education issued document (84) No.333 "Reply on the Establishment of Shandong University Weihai Branch", agreeing that Shandong University and Weihai Municipal People's Government should jointly establish Shandong University Weihai Branch in Weihai. On September 28th, 1987, Weihai Branch of Shandong University held the first freshman opening ceremony in front of the newly-built literature building. On 2001June 18, the Ministry of Education agreed to issue Shandong University diplomas to students of Weihai Branch.
