The extension amount is the sum of the tuition standard and accommodation fee of the student's major in the current year.

2. scholarships

The school has many scholarships, such as national scholarship, academic scholarship, excellent doctoral school scholarship and so on, covering 100% of full-time graduate students. Postgraduate scholarships are divided into three grades, and the reward standard is: first-class scholarship 1000 yuan/person/year; Second-class scholarship 5000 yuan/person/year; The third-class scholarship is 3000 yuan/person/year.

4. National student loans

National student loan has become the main channel of financial aid system for students from poor families in Hunan University. The maximum amount of graduate students is 12000 yuan/year, and the repayment period is 13 years, with a maximum of 20 years.

According to the bidding location and work process, the national student loan can be divided into two modes: student-origin credit student loan and campus national student loan.

(1) Student-origin credit student loan: Full-time graduate students with financial difficulties can apply for a loan from the student financial assistance management institution in the county (city, district) where their household registration is located. Please consult the local Student Financial Assistance Administration for the specific application process and related policies. Borrowing students shall, with the Loan Contract and Loan Acceptance Certificate issued by the bank, go through the receipt entry and relevant audit work after arriving at school.

(2) On-campus national student loan: Full-time graduate students with family financial difficulties can apply after school with the Application Form for Identification of Students with Family Financial Difficulties of Hunan University and a copy of their ID card and household registration book.

Graduate students who have successfully applied for CDB student loans and entered them into the CDB loan information system can take the green channel when going through the admission procedures, which is simpler and faster than the national student loans on campus.
