Are there many people applying for the subject teaching (Chinese) in Northeast Normal University?
I learned something about this major this year. Let me tell you, there are really not many applicants every year. Last year, more than 60 people applied and 57 people were enrolled. Of course, it is not the all-round major applied for, but also the adjustment of other majors. This year, the national enrollment 120 people, plans to enroll 35 people, the details will not be known until after admission, but I heard that this year is only a lot more than last year. I don't know the gold content of a major. This is a professional master's degree, focusing on practice. After two years of study, I will practice for another year. There is not much difference between this professional master and academic master in society at present.

As for being a university teacher, it's a bit hanging. Nowadays, college teachers generally want to be doctors. Maybe ordinary universities can recruit masters? This is not clear. However, the professional master who teaches this subject is to train primary and secondary school teachers full-time, and practice is also an internship in primary and secondary schools.

As for Chinese and English, I can't say which is better. It depends on my personal preference.
