School of Information Engineering, Hangzhou Dianzi University, referred to as Hangzhou Telecom, is located in Lin 'an District, Hangzhou. Approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government 1999, it was jointly organized by Hangzhou Dianzi University, Zhejiang Qingshan Lake Research and Innovation Base Investment Co., Ltd. and Hangzhou Wen Yi Education Development Co., Ltd.; Independent college confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2004.
The College is located at the Qingshan Lake in the West Science and Technology Innovation Corridor of Hangzhou, covering an area of 500 mu, with a construction area of 6,543,800+7,000 square meters. The college has 12 departments and 27 majors, covering five disciplines: engineering, economics, management and literature and art.
