Hubei Aviation Technical School is the only technical school in Hubei that focuses on training aviation professionals and creating blue sky craftsmen. Established on the basis of aviation major in Ezhou Economic and Trade School, it is a demonstration school of vocational education reform in Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives with militarized and closed management. The school is the first technical school in Hubei Province to cultivate aviation professionals and build blue sky craftsmen, covering transportation, national defense, machinery, information, culture and art, services and other categories.
The school implements militarized closed management. Now it has settled in Ezhou with Guangzhou Baiyun Airport, Shenzhen Baoan Airport, Beijing Daxing International Airport, Xiamen Airport, Wuhan Tianhe Airport, China Southern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Air Force Lingyun Group, especially Hubei International Logistics Core Hub Project, and the employment prospects of students are brighter. The school also engages in professional docking with ordinary universities inside and outside the province, such as Huazhong Normal University, Chengdu University of Information Science and Technology, Hubei University, Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University, wuhan textile University, Hubei Communications Vocational and Technical College and Beijing University of Modern Administration. The annual college entrance examination rate is among the best in similar schools.
With the school-running philosophy of "specialty, teaching, students' specialties, access to further education and employment guarantee", the school was awarded the "Member's Home" by China Vocational Education Association. It was selected by the Provincial People's Social Welfare Department as the selection base of aircraft maintenance projects in Hubei Province in the World Skills Competition; Aircraft maintenance major and its related courses were rated as brand major and excellent courses by the Provincial People's Social Welfare Department; It was named "Worker Pioneer Team" and "Hubei Industrial Worker Training Demonstration Base" by the Provincial Federation of Trade Unions; The Party building work of the Party branch of our school keeps the honorary title of 5A level every year.
