The main courses of music education major in Conservatory of Music include music theory, solfeggio, vocal music, piano, harmony foundation, Chinese and foreign music history and appreciation, chorus conductor, song creation, musical form analysis, art introduction, stage performance, dance, pedagogy, psychology, primary school music teaching research and modern educational technology. Music education majors train and bring up professionals with good music literacy and teaching ability to meet the needs of socialist market economy construction and educational reform and development.
