College Students' Job Interview: What will we experience during the interview?
In the process of job hunting, interview is the most critical link, and it is also the key link that ultimately determines the result. Some people are born to talk big and deal with interviews easily, but this is a minority after all. For most people, it is still necessary to be prepared. Before, we spent a lot of time discussing how to prepare for the interview. The purpose is to hope that you can prepare for this key link. Only in this way can you handle it with ease.

Note: There is no suitable picture collocation in this article. The main purpose of landscape map is to reduce reading fatigue.

The typical interview process is as follows:

The first step is to fill in the form;

The second step is to meet HR or the boss for the first time;

The third step, a higher-level interviewer interviews;

The fourth step, HR talks about salary and benefits;

First,? fill in a form

Most interviews start with the same path. After you arrive at the company, go directly to the front desk mm to tell you what you are doing here, and she will give you a form. The contents filled in the form are mostly the same as those in the resume, but there are some differences.

The same part is a summary of your basic information, your work experience and internship experience. Of course, this part won't let you fill in too many details, mainly information such as time and place. Remember not to be different from your resume.

The difference is to fill in family members, emergency contacts, education or references from previous companies. Of course, you don't need to fill in the recommendation letter and other information first, and then provide it when the company really hires you.

After you fill out the form, the front desk will inform the interviewer. When you fill it out, the interviewer is basically ready.

Second,? One side (critical test)

In the first round of interviews, there are often two situations, which may be a direct interview with the future boss, an HR interview, or an interview with colleagues in the department. Let's talk about the latter.

1.? Non-supervisor interview-rehearsal

In different companies, the first interviewer will be slightly different. Usually the business boss will interview directly, but sometimes the HR department will interview first. In this case, it may often be because the boss interviewer is not in place yet, and HR will stick to it for a while. Generally, this link will not get stuck. Therefore, you can use this opportunity as a rehearsal to relieve tension or discomfort.

At the beginning of HR, there is generally no in-depth communication. The usual practice is to let you introduce yourself, then let you tell some of your own experiences, and then ask some questions that ta may be interested in at will. Then it will enter the next round.

Therefore, if you can clearly know that this link is an HR interview, you don't have to spend a lot of effort to explain your personal experience, and you don't need to be particularly detailed. Save your energy. In general, this link will not be too long, that is, between 10-20, or even shorter.

Of course, there will also be a situation in this link. The interviewer is neither HR nor the direct supervisor, but your business colleagues, that is, people who are similar to your level and have no affiliation with your position. In this case, sometimes it may be because the leadership is not in place, so the time is delayed.

Of course, more often, let business colleagues screen it first to save time for the boss. The logic here is: if you don't even pass the colleague pass, then your boss doesn't need to spend extra time. So in this link, if it is a colleague interview, it is one thing for you to show professionalism and ability, and more importantly, to show modesty. Don't be too conceited.

2.? Boss interview-the real test

If there is an interview with HR or colleagues in front, it will be a rehearsal at most. The real first meeting is to interview your future boss directly. Therefore, if you clearly know that ta is your future boss, you need to go all out to show your ability.

Usually, the interview process is still three links:

self-introduction

Experience introduction

Question and answer session

( 1)? Introduce yourself:

Self-introduction is a classic opening remark in an interview. Whether it is the direct boss or the HR interviewer mentioned above, the first sentence will generally say: Please introduce yourself first.

As you are the interviewee, the first thing you need to overcome in this link is your psychological tension. Personal experience: If you are nervous during an interview, in addition to adopting some psychological methods to eliminate nervousness, another strategy is to adopt an "indifferent" attitude, that is, tell yourself in your heart that this is not an exam, just chatting, don't care about failure, or even forget that this is an interview. The more so, the easier it is for you to deal with.

Self-introduction is generally a routine part, and there will be nothing too brilliant, so it is good to be within the rules. Generally, briefly introduce your name, native place, school and major. Don't spend too much time on it, and don't cover everything like registering an account. The focus should be on introducing your abilities and experiences.

After introducing yourself, don't stop for the interviewer to ask you questions, but try to take the initiative and continue to introduce your experience. Of course, this place also depends on whether the interviewer has any questions to ask. If you have any questions, you need to stop and answer them first, instead of talking to yourself.

Paying attention to observation and determining when to speak and when to stop is also an important interview ability and workplace skill.

(2)? Experience details:

After briefly introducing yourself, enter the key part and begin to introduce your experience and ability. In particular, your ability or experience is compatible with the job you are applying for.

For fresh graduates, they often have no work experience, so internship experience is one of the few things you can say.

If you have no internship experience, it doesn't matter, then tap your own abilities and advantages. You can tell the interviewer that you think you have certain corresponding abilities according to the key abilities required by the enterprise recruitment position, and then prove it with actual cases.

For example, enterprises often pay attention to execution, attention to details, interpersonal communication skills, coordination skills and so on. If the position you are applying for specifically mentions that you want the job seeker to have a certain ability, then you can compare yourself and think about whether you have such ability, and then find one or two things that can prove this ability in your past experience. Packaging in advance according to the star rule (see the article "How to use the star rule to win the interviewer's heart") can come in handy at this time.

This link is the focus of the interviewer's investigation. Whether you can be hired or enter the next interview depends on whether you can impress the interviewer with your own experience or ability. Therefore, the interviewer will have many questions to challenge you in this session. Therefore, whether your reaction is smooth or not is very important.

At this stage, a good coping strategy is mentioned above. You can take out a prepared PPT document and actively guide the interviewer instead of being led by the interviewer's questions. On this point, my previous article "Job Interview: Resume Preparation for Interview Preparation" has already said. I won't repeat it here.

In addition, it should be reminded that many students have a place that is neglected or easily misunderstood. They believe that work ability must be proved by past work experience. In fact, the process of expressing yourself in language during the interview is also a demonstration of your ability. Whether your language expression is logical or not, and whether your generalization ability is good enough, these will also be added points.

The boss you meet in the interview will be very different. Some interviewers may not ask you too many questions, but they are talking about themselves. As long as you listen and give simple feedback in time, you may get a position. This situation has also happened to seniors. However, it depends on whether you are the type you want to go with such a boss.

(3)? Question and answer session:

If your experience passes the test, whether you are hired or not, the interviewer will ask you a classic question: Do you have any questions?

This question is actually a very important one. Whether it is possible to be hired or enter the next interview, the tone and expression of the interviewer when throwing this question may basically be suggestive.

At this time, the questions you ask are also very important. I also elaborated this point in the previous "Job Interview: What Questions the Interviewer Asked". Specific questions to ask, to distinguish the boss's attitude at this time:

If your future boss has made it clear that you are hired, you can ask some questions about the organizational structure and staffing of the department. Especially if you have prepared questions about the company's business or products in advance, please ask for the other party's opinions by consulting. At this time, you can not only understand the characteristics of the future boss so that you can make your own decisions, but also leave a good impression on the other party by asking well.

If your boss doesn't show much inclination to hire you, you should not ask questions about organizational structure, but mainly about products, which requires you to do some preparatory work in advance. If your question is really valuable, you may even pull back a city and become your last chance to save you.

After completing the Q&A session, the home of this interview basically ended. Whether there is a higher-level interviewer to interview next, or whether HR directly communicates salary and benefits depends on the situation of each company.

Generally speaking, the success of small and medium-sized companies here is basically decisive. However, if it is a big company, it is not over yet. In big companies, there will be at least 1-2 rounds of interviews, so this confrontation is only half or one third of the interviews.

Third,? Both parties (higher level interview)

If there is a second or third interview, it is your boss's boss, or even a higher level such as CEO interview. The process of these interviews is similar to the boss interview above, which is basically a personal introduction, an introduction of experience or ability, and a question and answer session.

But in this link, according to the position level of the interviewer, the communication mode and language expression of the interview should be more cautious. If the interviewer has a higher level, it often means more experience and stronger ability. In the face of such people, humility, respect and honesty are more important.

If there are any deceptive lies in your words, it is easy for the other party to see through, and the result of the interview can be imagined. However, this does not mean that you are afraid to speak and express your views. Good self-confidence is also important.

In this link, we should also consider the question of thousands of people mentioned above, that is, is the interviewer a person who is more willing to ask questions for you to answer, or a person who is more inclined to talk.

In fact, some senior leaders are often better at expressing themselves. They are used to talking. In that case, let them talk.

Fourth,? End face (HR talks about salary and benefits)

If your interview is not double-sided or three-sided, or you pass the double-sided and three-sided, then HR will talk to you about employment. In this step, HR is mainly to confirm the entry time with you, tell you some preparations for entry, answer your questions about salary and benefits, and other details.

It is important for you to know the salary and welfare level. Therefore, you should try to ask all the questions and important questions. For example:

Is the company five insurances and one gold or six insurances and one gold?

Is the provident fund paid in full?

How many months is the year-end award?

What are the salary components?

If there is performance pay, what are the conditions for full payment of performance pay?

Of course, in addition to these questions, if you have some personal questions, including the composition of the department, you can ask your boss in this session.

What I want to remind you here is that if there are many questions, it is best to make a list and prepare it in your mobile phone in advance. If you forget, you can take it out. In case you don't ask comprehensively, you will eventually face the dilemma of insufficient information when deciding whether to go to this company.

List thinking
