Xinjiang Agricultural University, located in Urumqi, Xinjiang, is a key agricultural institution of higher learning in the autonomous region approved by the State Forestry Administration and the people's government of the autonomous region. As of September 2023, the school has four campuses: Laomancheng Campus, Yaxin Campus, Lugang Campus and Tiangeer Campus. Among them, Laomancheng Campus (headquarters) covers an area of about 1.500 mu, Yaxin Campus covers an area of about 500 mu, Lugang Campus covers an area of about 4,000 mu, and Tiangeer Campus (internship forest farm) covers an area of about 1.500 mu. There are 24 colleges.
