The School of Information Science and Engineering of Central South University was established in May 2002, which was formed by the merger of the School of Information Science and Engineering of Central South University, the Computing Center of the School of Information Engineering of Central South University Railway Campus and the Computing Center of Xiangya Medical College of Central South University.
