In the past three years, the employment rate of graduates of this major has been stable at over 92%, and at present, 90% of graduates are engaged in professional-related jobs. Graduates can go to well-known IT enterprises and IT departments in finance, telecommunications and other industries to engage in software planning, development, testing, operation and maintenance. In addition, some students go to national or provincial institutions to engage in management, service or teaching. At present, most of the graduates of this major have become the business backbone of their units.
In recent years, the proportion of computer science and technology majors recommended to study for master's degree in our school is 10%, and the admission rate of postgraduate entrance examination is over 30%, and the proportion of further study is increasing year by year. Over the past five years, nearly 600 graduates have obtained master's degrees and entered Peking University, Zhejiang University, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Institute of Technology, Southeast University and Tianjin University.
University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Beijing Normal University, East China Normal University, Shandong University, Sichuan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, King's College London, University of Sydney and other high-level universities at home and abroad continue their studies, and some graduate students continue to pursue doctoral degrees after completing their master's degrees.
