I am also a student of Pharmaceutical University. China Pharmaceutical University is indeed a leading school in the domestic pharmaceutical industry. Its strength in the pharmaceutical industry (including academic and business circles) is unparalleled, and its scale is the first in the world, but it is far from the first in the world. The term "little fish" is slightly biased. The strongest majors in the school are pharmacy, Chinese medicine and pharmaceutical preparations in turn, and in these respects, the pharmaceutical university is slightly better than HKU (it is true that the pharmaceutical university and HKU just had an academic exchange not long ago, and I participated in it, although the mainland simply deified HKU).

I visited many colleges and universities all over the country. Comparatively speaking, the accommodation conditions in Pharmaceutical University are relatively good. Four undergraduates have a room (desk for getting into bed and getting out of bed). Each room has a wardrobe, lockers, balcony, private bathroom, electric water heater, electric kettle, no water dispenser, unlimited electricity consumption, free running water and uninterrupted power supply at night. Undergraduates are disconnected from the Internet at 23 o'clock from Sunday to Thursday, and at 2 o'clock on Friday and Saturday (but they have to use the Internet all night).

A remarkable feature of Pharmaceutical University is its first-class spirit and rigorous scholarship. General enterprises and parents of students all respond that the education in pharmaceutical universities is practical, and what they teach is practical and not impetuous. There is no such phenomenon as cheating and laissez-faire in colleges and universities. So, on the other hand, it is very difficult to study in a pharmaceutical university.

The school has two campuses. Xuanwu District is located at No.24, Tongjiaxiang, north of Nanjing city center, with a superior geographical position, but that is where doctoral students are located, and undergraduates only visit at most. The main campus is in Jiangning University Town at the southeast end of Nanjing. The subway 1 line starts at the school gate, with convenient transportation, but it is too far from the urban area. It takes about 1 hour to get to the city center by subway. Jiangning District is not as big as a comprehensive university (such as Fudan University), but it is very big in a professional university (such as Shanghai University of Finance and Economics).

There are two school canteens with many varieties, but the taste is average, not very prominent, but not bad. Compared with many famous universities in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Guangzhou, medicine is more expensive, especially catering.

The climate in Nanjing is pleasant in spring and autumn, with hot summer (one of the four stoves in China) and cold winter (about -2~-6℃ at the coldest time). Because the school is located in the south and there is no heating in winter, it may not adapt at first. In recent years, the climate has changed greatly, and the spring and autumn time has been shortened obviously, but summer is not as hot as before, and winter is not as cold as before, but it is better.
