When I went to college myself, I started to work part-time as a waiter in KFC in my sophomore year. At that time, I would sweep the floor, clean the table and order food. Later, I worked as a dishwasher in a hot pot restaurant, a salesman in a clothing store, handed out leaflets and got up as soon as I got a job.
Many of my classmates are very idle in college. Because there are not many classes, many people are very free, and then they play games, fall in love, sleep and go out to play. In short, their college life was really idle, and they were actually quite envious at that time.
Later, when I graduated, I happened to encounter the financial crisis, and it was really difficult to find a job. Some people can't figure out their position after graduation. Many people think that graduates from good schools should belong to the kind of people who are used when they arrive at the company. Others think the salary is too low, and so on. Otherwise, they feel a little ambitious during the interview.
We went to a company for an interview, and twelve students went together. Finally, I stayed. Many times, your part-time social experience can really help you. At least you won't be as simple as a child in an ivory tower, so one-sided when answering questions and so blank on your resume.
So I suggest that if the university is really idle, it will be helpful to find a job in the future if you don't go out to do some part-time jobs and do some service industries.
