On February 4th, the Ministry of Education issued the Guiding Opinions on Doing a Good Job in the Organization and Management of Online Teaching in Colleges and Universities during the Epidemic Prevention and Control Period, and made nine measures and arrangements for colleges and universities to stop teaching.

First, we launched 24,000 courses on 22 online course platforms, which were not made in a hurry to cope with the epidemic, but good courses organized, cultivated and selected by good teachers in recent years. The quality of these courses is guaranteed.

Second, we don't advocate, encourage, hope or suggest that colleges and universities require every teacher to take live classes during the epidemic.

Third, the Guiding Opinions put forward nine requirements to ensure the smooth development of online teaching in colleges and universities. Among these nine requirements, there are four requirements that I want to emphasize again:

1 and 24000 courses are free online courses and virtual simulation experiment teaching resources for all universities in China.

2. Schools should ensure that the quality of online learning and offline classroom teaching is basically the same.

Third, give full play to the demonstration and leading role of national excellent online open courses.

4. All online course platforms should provide comprehensive technical support services. After the release of this opinion, this morning we received various specific measures put forward by 3 1 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions and Xinjiang production and construction corps in accordance with the requirements of "one place, one policy, one school, one policy".

The 74 teaching guidance committees of the Ministry of Education put forward the online teaching guidance scheme and the list of course selection suggestions, and 75 universities directly under the Ministry of Education put forward specific measures. We require the course platform to make technical preparations and conduct various stress tests from June 30, 65438. It should be said that the preparation work and operation effect are good now, and online teaching can be carried out smoothly in the follow-up.

Technically, it is necessary to increase revenue and reduce expenditure, and launch a number of carefully selected platforms on the basis of the original 22 curriculum platforms. We will expand the platform base to avoid congestion at the same time, on the same platform and on the same route. In the form of curriculum, we offer a variety of courses including massive open online courses, spoc, virtual simulation experiments and so on.

In terms of content, it is guaranteed that the colors and varieties are complete, including general courses, public basic courses, professional courses, theoretical courses and virtual simulation courses, covering all undergraduate 12 disciplines and higher vocational 18 categories, so that teachers and students in colleges and universities can freely choose according to their respective teaching plans and syllabuses.

In management, we should carry out "four checks": platform check, school check, teaching Committee check and higher education department check, and implement strict checks to ensure the implementation of curriculum quality and technology.

Finally, it should be emphasized that online teaching in colleges and universities can not only play an emergency role during the epidemic, but also be a learning revolution in the field of education and teaching that Chinese colleges and universities have been trying to promote in recent years.
