First, the language requirements of German graduate students
Judging from the language requirements of German universities for international students, different schools and majors have different requirements for language conditions. For example, German law students need a good level of German, while mathematics students don't need a particularly high level of German. If you apply for German public universities, engineering colleges and other categories of students, the German score is better than 300 points, and the chances of getting a visa are relatively high, which means that you must study German for at least 500 hours in China. Students applying for German art schools must also take the DaF or TEF exam, but the score is not as strict as that of public universities, and it is better to reach 280 or above.
Second, the German postgraduate study abroad application process
1. Translate notarized academic materials.
2. Apply for review.
3. Apply for a university: After the examination and approval, all the application materials will be sent without omission, including the completed application form, the official certificate of a full set of academic materials, and the audit certificate of the German audit department.
4. Apply for a visa. It usually takes four to eight weeks to apply for a visa.
Remind students that the specific requirements and application deadlines of different majors may be different, so please read the college admissions website carefully before submitting the materials.
The deadline for universities (uni) to accept applications for admission is generally:
1) Summer term (SS):65438+ 10/5 (classes start in early April).
2) Winter term (WS): July15 (1classes start in early October 10).
Three. APS audit materials
1, high school diploma: Chinese and German are integrated, which can save some expenses when notarized;
2. Admission certificate of the college entrance examination: the archives department of the school originally admitted the archives, and the teacher of the archives department will stamp it for you (indicate your name, hometown, college entrance examination results, whether it has passed, and the nature of household registration). Take this paper to draft a certificate of the Sino-German college entrance examination, stamp it at the student office and stamp it at the principal's office;
3. Proof of class hours: China and Germany are integrated without notarization;
4. University score certificate: go to the Academic Affairs Office to print the university score, stamp it, and then translate it;
5. University study certificate: Chinese and German translation, with the seal of the Student Office and the seal of the President's Office.
After all these are completed, bring the originals, photocopies and translations of various documents, with the number of copies = number of notaries +2 (one for the notary office and one for backup): ID card, passport, household registration book and audit application form. After all the materials have been translated and notarized, they will be submitted to the German audit department by mail or in person for an appointment interview. Remittance of RMB 2,500 will be used as the visa fee for examination and approval (after examination and approval, the applicant must submit a visa application through the examination and approval department).
Four. German application materials for studying abroad
Application letter (in English or German), resume, completed application form, original APS certificate, copy of bachelor's degree certificate and official certificate (if graduated), university achievement certificate (official certificate), certificate of studying in university (not graduated), official certificate of high school graduation certificate, official certificate of college entrance examination, German certificate (DSH or TestDaF certificate), and proof of school hours (if there is no German certificate, it is required).
