Basic courses: Canadian research, writing, grammar and writing structure, literature, listening skills, news media and social affairs, oral skills, popular culture, reading skills, newspaper and magazine analysis, TV news analysis, critical reading and writing.
Professional courses: scenic tourism course, TOEFL preparatory course, IELTS preparatory course, business culture course and college preparatory course (students choose one of the above courses and spend one afternoon studying every week)
12 week full-time course date is 3,900 Canadian dollars. The final registration date is from Friday, July 5, 2004 to September 24, Friday, June 25, 9.27–17, and Friday, 2005, 9. 10, 1.3-3.25. 12. 17 (2004) 4.4-6.24 Friday, 3.18 9.12-12.2 Friday, 8. The date of 8-week full-time course is $2,600, and the last registration date is July 5, 2004. Friday of 6.2510.4–1.26, Friday of 9.17, 2005 1.3-2.25,12.10. Tuition is 2600-3900 Canadian dollars. The course is divided into five levels: elementary 1, elementary 2, intermediate, advanced and advanced, which helps students learn language skills, analyze and communicate, thus improving their listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities.
You need to pay a fee of 2 semesters when registering, and you need to pay 100 Canadian dollars if you need to postpone it. The school provides medical insurance, and each student has to pay 30 Canadian dollars.
If students can meet the highest level requirements of the language center and graduate, they can directly enter the degree program of Simon Fraser University.
Transfer credits include courses from university to project I (UTP I) and from university to project II (UTP II). UTP 1 is a pre-university course, and UTP 2 is equivalent to the first-year course of SFU University. Students can formally transfer to SFU after completing UTP II.
