I took the China Minority Languages and Literature in Jinan University with a total score of 396, Introduction to Linguistics and Literature 134, Modern Chinese and Composition 130.
Now I will briefly record the experience and mental journey of this year's postgraduate entrance examination, so as to commemorate the years of postgraduate entrance examination, review and summarize, and forge ahead.
First, choose
1, postgraduate entrance examination or not
It is determined that the postgraduate entrance examination is during the winter vacation at the end of the last semester of junior year. I have been struggling with the postgraduate entrance examination all semester. After reading countless experience posts, forums and post bars have different views. The quality of postgraduate entrance examination is very noisy in various forums. Finally, I decided to choose my own postgraduate entrance examination, and one sentence in a thousand words convinced me. "If you don't take the postgraduate entrance examination, you have to go back and forth between submitting your resume and job fairs, and most of your time is wasted on the road. It is better to calm down and quietly accumulate for one year. " Time is precious, especially in the twenties, and the age of struggle certainly needs to be spurred.
Secondly, the second reason for choosing the postgraduate entrance examination is that the consciousness of "lifelong learning" should not be just a simple slogan, but should be implemented in our lives. The changes in contemporary society are changing with each passing day. Every day there are new things and new changes. To achieve a goal, you can't stop at this goal. In our twenties, we need to choose, to forge ahead, and to stay in one place for a long time. There is no doubt that we will be abandoned by the times and cannot appreciate the novelty and convenience of new things in the new era. Of course, study is not limited to postgraduate entrance examination. Working, starting a business and going abroad are all ways to learn, and they are all ways to accumulate and improve themselves. But relatively speaking, graduate study is more systematic and targeted, or for a lazy person like me who has no self-planning, it can urge me to learn new knowledge and complete new challenges.
2, major, school
After deciding to take the postgraduate entrance examination, what major and school to choose has become the most important thing. Students majoring in Chinese language and literature generally have to choose between two directions of language and literature (excluding students who cross other majors here). The language is logical, closely linked with other science and engineering disciplines, with strong application and good employment prospects, but it requires high scores. Literature should be the direction that most girls tend to choose when they take the postgraduate entrance examination. Ancient literature and modern and contemporary literature are also traditional subjects in many schools, and the literary strength of famous schools has its own advantages. China's language and literature postgraduate entrance examination results have always been the highest in all disciplines, and the number of students enrolled is relatively small (here, I can't help complaining that a very small number of science and engineering students always tend to think that liberal arts examinations are always easy, but in fact, regardless of science and liberal arts, the learning process is constantly accumulating, science is all about brushing questions, and liberal arts are all about reciting, which is only due to the different ways taken in actual actions, and the ultimate goal is to pursue familiarity and accumulation. )
There are two reasons for choosing minority languages and literature: first, I am a minority and have a tendentious interest in minority literature; Second, compared with ancient literature, modern and contemporary literature and other majors, the subject of minority languages and literature is not so hot and the pressure of employment competition is not so great. After deciding to choose the major of minority languages and literature, I collected universities offering postgraduate entrance examinations in minority languages from the Internet, and finally chose Jinan University.
When choosing a professional school, I summed up the following aspects that deserve attention: first, hobbies, interest is the best teacher, and interest will inspire you; Second, the basic application information such as the proportion of school recruitment and professional catalogue; Third, the geographical location and price level of the school; Fourth, learning ability.
Second, the review process.
1. Politics
My political review began in September, using Xiao Xiurong's book, which was concise and to the point, with 1000 questions. The basic method is to read a chapter, talk about conciseness and do a thousand questions in a chapter.
A chapter actually has a lot of content. Every time I watch it, I may get sleepy in the middle of it, and I can't remember most of it. After the completion of the task, almost the whole morning is gone, and sometimes I will be lazy and choose not to read it. Therefore, my progress in the later period is much slower than that of the students who took the postgraduate entrance examination around me. 1 1 month, most of the students around me have brushed 1000 twice and started to brush political red books and so on. I have just finished the examination of political truth questions over the years, and I also intend to give up the recitation version of political truth questions by headwind and Xiao Xiurong. However, I found a more ingenious way to share it with my brothers and sisters. From 1 1 month, I printed out all the simulation questions of the major postgraduate institutions, started to brush multiple-choice questions, made one or two sets of simulation questions every morning, and then carefully checked the answers, summarized the knowledge points, and summarized all the simulation questions together, covering almost the high-frequency test sites and current political hotspots of postgraduate politics this year. I want to emphasize here that political multiple-choice questions really only need to be familiar with knowledge points and do not need to be recited. Therefore, understanding memory is the key.
/kloc-I started to brush Primary Eight and Xiao Si in February, and just started to do multiple-choice questions to summarize the knowledge points of understanding and memory. Subjective questions are only conceived in my mind. I have been reciting Xiao Si repeatedly these days. I am a liberal arts student. I have a certain foundation and learning thinking in political study, but I also find it difficult when I recite politics. Political knowledge is updated quickly, and the politics of postgraduate entrance examination is close to the hot spots of the times. So it is very different from the knowledge accumulated by liberal arts students in high school. Therefore, I suggest my brothers and sisters/kloc-go out in 0/2 months, take time to recite and improve efficiency. Don't be like me, just remember Xiao Si the night before the exam. But political subjective questions really don't need to spend too much time. The scores of students' political subjective questions have little difference over the years. The main difference is objective questions. The level of multiple-choice questions determines the political score.
2. English
I have a good foundation in English (I passed CET-4 and CET-6 at one time and won the second prize in national english contest for college students), and I have some views and methods on English learning. English learning itself is a long-term accumulation process. Words, sentences and articles need to be accumulated day after day, but it is this long span that often makes people unaware of the progress of English learning. They often indulge in reciting English words for several hours every day, but they can't see any effect during reading.
Reading is 40% of English for postgraduate entrance examination, and the biggest difference in scores over the years is reading. Even reading ability is not only reflected in these forty points, but every part of translation, new questions and composition can be accumulated and improved through reading. Therefore, the reader wins the world. The most important learning material for English reading in postgraduate entrance examination is the real questions of English in postgraduate entrance examination over the years. It is not an exaggeration to brush each set of English real questions three times, so that there are no new words and no people who don't understand sentences. Only in this process of repeated familiarity and accumulation can English reading ability be continuously improved. In 1 1 and1February, many English composition templates will be released by the major postgraduate entrance examination institutions, but I suggest that English composition templates should be sorted out by themselves, and the beautiful words and phrases accumulated in their reading process will be used to form the highlights of the composition, which will not only facilitate their memory, but also improve their composition grade.
There is no doubt that word memory is the basis of English learning, but the reason why I didn't put it in the first place is because I think word memory itself needs to be accumulated in normal reading. It is not necessary to spend a lot of time just reading words and memorizing several meanings, but to understand and memorize the true meanings of English words and related contextual colors from specific contexts.
Finally, let me talk about the English materials I used, Zhang Jian's yellow book. It feels good. The most important thing is to use it well, not to look at this today and that tomorrow.
The little red book selected by the word book has never been turned over after reading it once.
3. Professional courses
The preliminary subjects of the Department of Minority Languages and Literature of Minzu University of China are 626 Linguistics, Literature Introduction 830 Modern Chinese and Composition. Jinan University didn't publish the bibliography, asked the former graduate students' sisters, and determined the professional book version: Linguistics Outline (Ye Feisheng).
A course in literary theory (Tong Qingbing),
Modern Chinese (Huang Borong, Liao Xudong)
The review of professional courses began in March, because there are too many courses in my junior year in undergraduate school, and the classes are often full in the morning, so I don't have time to read the reference books for postgraduate entrance examination in the afternoon and evening, so I didn't finish reading three professional course books until the holiday in July. 17 caught up with the highest temperature in the past years in summer, so I didn't study much in the three weeks before the festival. On July 15 holiday, my roommate and I rented an air-conditioned room outside the school and really started studying. After a month and a half of summer vacation, I was basically familiar with the professional course books and basically understood that it was just a framework. School starts in September, 10, and I haven't felt the urgency of time yet. Sometimes I will give myself a day off to watch variety shows until 1 1 month, and the task of political multiple-choice questions will be aggravated. I can recite English composition, forget professional courses, and can't remember any knowledge points when I close the book. Three thick books were lying there waiting to be recited. In this case, I will really increase my strength.
In short, professional review is to review the real questions of the school repeatedly, and continue to recite repeatedly in the state of forgetting and forgetting. Remind everyone that you don't have to worry too much about the state you can't remember when reviewing. During the exam, there will definitely be a large influx of knowledge points. Finally, we must try our best to write professional exams. Whether you are really familiar with the knowledge points or not, a full test paper has been the perfect answer for your review in the past year.
4. Other aspects
First, there is not much information. The key is to study hard. Apart from professional books (basically undergraduate textbooks), real questions in various subjects and some of the above materials, I have hardly bought any information books, and later my little father's current affairs books.
If you don't read (don't have time) to recite sprints, it's better to read ten books once than to read ten books once.
Second, the network resources are abundant. You can get the basic enrollment information, professional catalogue, relevant learning materials, videos, etc. Do it yourself, search for advice, and don't expect others to provide it for you. However, it should be reminded that the postgraduate entrance examination needs to pay attention to school information, political affairs and related learning materials in time, but don't spend too much energy in this respect. After all, only by really getting into books and accumulating and reciting in a down-to-earth manner can we finally sublimate into our own knowledge.
Third, in the later stage of postgraduate entrance examination, if you feel it is necessary, you can sign up for a political remedial class or buy English composition prediction resources. I don't buy it, but personally, I feel that political Xiao Xiurong and English are more reliable.
Fourth, it is not so difficult to take the postgraduate entrance examination by adjusting the mentality reasonably and exercising properly. My stomach itself is not very good. Rent a house outside during the summer vacation, often order takeout, and eat irregularly. My stomach trouble broke out completely in1February, and I didn't digest anything, and my flatulence was serious, but fortunately I didn't feel any pain or anything, which didn't affect the exam. I went to the hospital the next day after the exam and had a good check-up, so I reminded my brothers and sisters to pay attention to their diet. Now we always rely on our youth and ignore our gastrointestinal problems. There is another one, which seems to be a common problem of most postgraduate students, that is, lumbar muscle strain, backache and sedentary is not good, so don't keep a posture for too long when reviewing, and you can walk around properly when endorsing.
Third, the second interview
The re-examination time of each school is different, and the re-examination process is different, but it is basically three links: oral English, professional written test and professional re-examination. Spoken English test 10%, professional written test 45%, and professional interview 45% in Minority Languages Department of Jinan University. Oral English in the morning, plus professional interview and written test in the afternoon. Although the interview process is quite different, teachers basically examine the following aspects: English, professional knowledge, learning ability, planning purpose, interpersonal communication, analytical ability and other related comprehensive abilities, as well as students' personality quality. I briefly summarized the common second-round exam questions:
Professional basic knowledge
Monographs and basic bibliographies related to the theme
Professional knowledge, as well as some understanding of relevant social hotspots.
Undergraduate study and living conditions
Undergraduate thesis
Postgraduate study planning
Future life planning
Hobbies and interests
Relative personal information such as hometown and family.
Fourth, summary:
A year passed quickly from the early spring of 17 to the harvest of "admission" results in the late spring of 18. In retrospect, many, many pictures come to mind. Postgraduate entrance examination is the main theme of this year, but there are also many small beautiful things embedded in this lonely road. The "sin" after watching TV, the expectation of eating every day, and even the final illness are still in the same melody.
Verb (short for verb) suggests:
Now that the epidemic situation is normalized, it is very difficult to get employment, go abroad and take the postgraduate entrance examination. If you choose to take the postgraduate entrance examination, you may face more competitors and a more intense competitive environment, but I feel that no matter whether you get in the final exam or not, as long as you stick to it, everything is worth it. All the way to prepare for the war, I feel a little like crying every time I think about it. I just need to understand the hardships and loneliness in the middle. It's not hard to say it's hard, and it's not easy to say it's easy, but I think I'm, uh, fine. I hope everyone can make their own choices. Choice is indeed more important than hard work. Choice determines the direction of efforts, and efforts in the wrong direction are futile. Don't hesitate, don't hesitate, don't hesitate, work towards this goal. Give and you will get. Graduate school is not as difficult as online rendering, and all the volunteers or transfers around me have been admitted. As long as you are not arrogant and down to earth, the most important thing is to make a good choice and stick to it.
