Interim Measures for Evaluation of Undergraduate Classroom Teaching Quality in Southwest University
1. The evaluation of teaching quality is conducted under the direct leadership of the vice president in charge of teaching in the school and implemented by the Academic Affairs Office.

2. Teaching quality evaluation consists of four parts: evaluation of leading cadres, evaluation of teaching supervision and peer experts, evaluation of students and evaluation of teaching materials.

(1) Student evaluation

Students are arranged to evaluate teaching 1-2 times each semester. According to the unified arrangement of the Academic Affairs Office, all colleges and universities should organize all their students to evaluate teaching online. Students' evaluation targets are all teachers who have taken classes this semester.

(2) Teaching supervision and peer expert evaluation

All colleges should invite teachers who have been engaged in teaching for a long time, have the title of associate professor or above, and are serious and responsible in their work to set up undergraduate teaching supervision groups. The undergraduate teaching steering group of our college should organize the undergraduate teaching steering committee to attend classes for more than 2 hours per semester for each course offered by our college, fill in the Attendance Record Form, and input the evaluation results into the undergraduate teaching quality evaluation management system (hereinafter referred to as the teaching evaluation system).

The undergraduate teaching steering committee of the school should go deep into the front line of undergraduate teaching in accordance with the requirements of the Interim Measures for the Work of the Undergraduate Teaching Steering Committee of Southwest University, and attend classes for at least 30 hours each semester, and should carefully fill in the Attendance Record Form and input the evaluation results into the teaching evaluation system.

Each college should organize teachers to attend classes every semester, fill in the Attendance Record Form carefully, and input the evaluation results into the teaching evaluation system.

Leading cadres at all levels (including teaching administrators) should go deep into undergraduate teaching classrooms in accordance with school regulations, make a fair and accurate evaluation of teachers' classroom teaching quality, fill in the Attendance Record Form carefully, and input the evaluation results into the teaching evaluation system.

(4) Examination and evaluation of teaching materials

Teaching materials such as teaching plan (including teaching design, handouts, multimedia courseware), teaching calendar, homework (experimental report) marking records, answering records, student achievement books, test paper analysis, etc. It is one of the important bases to test the quality of teachers' classroom teaching. The undergraduate teaching supervision team of each college should conduct a comprehensive inspection and evaluation of the relevant materials of undergraduate courses offered by the college every semester, especially the teacher's marking.

3. Teaching quality evaluation is divided into four grades: excellent (above 90 points), good (80-89 points), qualified (70-79 points) and unqualified (below 69 points).

4. The proportion of each part of the annual assessment of teachers' teaching quality is: 60% for students' evaluation of teaching, 30% for college teaching supervisors and peer experts, and 10% for examination and evaluation of teaching materials.
