The School of Clinical Medicine of Hangzhou Normal University was formerly the Department of Clinical Medicine of Hangzhou Branch of Zhejiang Medical University. Founded in 1979, 1993 was renamed the Department of Clinical Medicine of Hangzhou Medical College, and in 200 1 was renamed the Department of Clinical Medicine of Hangzhou Normal University, which was founded in 2004. The affiliated hospital (Hangzhou Second People's Hospital) was renamed as the affiliated hospital of Hangzhou Normal University. 20 13 merged with Nursing College of Hangzhou Normal University, School of Health Management of Hangzhou Normal University (formerly School of Medicine and Health Management) and the Third Hospital of Basic Medicine Department of Hangzhou Normal University to form the Medical College of Hangzhou Normal University.
