I went to the art gallery for a lecture last night, because the banner of "Hello, Ideal" was hung on Hao San Road for several days, and I was attracted by two people on the screen: a president and a young and handsome CEO. I picked the last row and sat down. I had planned to go back to study hard after listening to it for an hour, but I regretted it after listening to it for the first hour. Why not go to the front row and feel the light of the president's humor and wisdom?
His name is Zhang Xiangdong, one of the founders of 3G portal. Compared with his achievement of "raising 2 billion yuan in two years", I am more fascinated by his early experience. I didn't go to college in the first year, but I tried to go to Peking University in the second year. I only did two things in my four years in college, that is, playing basketball and reading in the library. After graduation, I was young and frivolous, constantly changing jobs, and started a company with several talented software geniuses. The slogan was "There are always some problems that we need to solve", which immediately attracted an investment of one million yuan, and soon the company went bankrupt smoothly. I went south to Guangzhou to look for a job and rushed to the Southern Newspaper Building to invite my boss to work. The editor-in-chief saw his excellent technical strength and asked him to do the sorting out of the questionnaire survey for two months. Finally, one day, other reporters were sent away during the interview. He quickly said, why don't I try ... Before he left the Beijing News to start a business, he was already the chief reporter there.
Of course, you can find this experience in any inspirational book, but when you hear it on the spot, you can't help but be fascinated and keep asking yourself, if I don't work well after graduation, will I continue to read books to enrich myself, be sensitive to all kinds of information and opportunities, seize opportunities and realize the value of life like him?
He also told many stories about his partner Deng Yuxiang, who was an eccentric person. He always has many ideas and always says, "Shall we sit here?" And "I have another plan." For these plans, he seldom went to class, but he studied computer day and night wisely, successfully planned a "full exam" for a period of time, and then dropped out of school smoothly.
Two people with dreams naturally walk together, which is strange but admirable. In teacher Zhang's relaxed and humorous speech, I clearly saw that a silly boy playing basketball is still so simple after many things, so he believes in the power of will and will go further and wider step by step.
This is also my ideal life. I even think that the only thing I can't compare with him in deviant, flouting rules and popping up a lot of ideas every day is that he dares to do it at Peking University! There are also some specific business ideas, although I have not learned professional knowledge, but I also understand his approach. For example, when developing the mobile phone network, a student asked how wap should survive when the mobile phone can completely access www. Mr. Zhang explained the characteristics of their 3G network, and then said that when a product is trapped in the technological development without advanced ideas, there is no need for this product to exist. Another classmate saw that his company was now launching some brand-new publicity strategies, such as folk bands and online novels, and asked him how to promote his newly established website. He said that the word "buying and selling" is always the same, that is, you sell things and someone buys them; The reason why the wireless Internet has a broad prospect is that users are the first in this field, and now it only sells various forms of cultural products to meet the needs of users.
Therefore, I listened carefully to the course of management information system today. There are many interesting things in the fields of information technology and Internet. Also, this field should be the youngest and most active group of people in China today. They are leading our social and economic revolution, and they are the latest batch of role models worth learning.
I first thought of starting my own business in the summer vacation after the college entrance examination. At that time, under the influence and encouragement of my father's words from time to time, after reading several successful cases of starting a business, I was full of young people's passion and self-confidence. I planned to start a business, strive for my own sky, and dream of fame and fortune. ...
But I can still clearly realize that my ability is limited and opportunities will only be reserved for those who are prepared. In order to learn more about entrepreneurship and accumulate relevant information, among many lectures, I chose to listen to the lectures on entrepreneurship and listen to the experiences of those who have experienced entrepreneurship, which I think will be helpful for my future entrepreneurial road.
The first lecture on entrepreneurship was "Nokia Youth Entrepreneurship Lecture Hall (Tongji Station)", and three guests with entrepreneurial experience were invited. They gave speeches one after another and talked about their views on entrepreneurship.
The first is Mr. Feng Jian, Chairman of Beijing Shinkansen Education Group. His speech was very inflammatory and passionate, which showed me a passionate young man. At the beginning, he used the slogan of Special Olympics "You can do it, I can do it" and said the words of encouragement "I can do it, you can do it better", which really made my blood boil.
Then, he focused on "whether it is suitable for starting a business" to talk about his own views. He said: entrepreneurship should have good planning, be able to endure hardships and control desires; Moreover, when running a start-up company, we should have the attitude of "saving money is making money" and have good judgment and foresight for the company's future decision-making; When dealing with entrepreneurship, if you have an idea, you must put it into action. You have to understand that what others can't do, you can do it well.
Listening to his speech made me very useful. Especially when he talked about the hardest time to start a business, he was so hungry that he drank the batter to put up a small advertisement, so he fell ill and was hospitalized, which made my heart tremble. It made me understand the hardships of starting a business from scratch and why endurance is an essential quality for entrepreneurs.
The second is Mr. Shen Lidong, the chairman of Shanghai Modern Architectural Decoration Environment Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., who is also an alumnus of Tongji University. Because he spoke in a low voice, I couldn't hear him clearly, so I didn't leave any impression or record, so I slept for a while ... (* _ *)
The third is Mr. Chen Dan, Chairman and Creative Director of Zhengbang Brand Identity Design Co., Ltd. I have never heard of Zhengbang Company before, but now I really know a lot. It turns out that the brands logos of many big companies in China, such as China Telecom, China Netcom, Skyworth, Tsinghua Tongfang, Amoi, Yili, Lenovo and Life Insurance, are all designed by this company, which is amazing.
Mr Chen Dan said two things very well: the first is "zero mentality". Mr. Chen Dan was a professor in a famous university before he started his business, but he went to Beijing to start his business, and everything started from a new beginning. He is deeply touched by this. The so-called "zero mentality" is a modest mentality, a mentality from scratch. When starting a business, you need to put everything back to zero, and you can't be proud of how many honors you have won and how good universities you have been admitted to. The second is to "focus on one thing." For a person, as long as you are willing to focus on one thing, you can do it well and succeed. A person's entrepreneurship is like this, and so is a new company. For the design company he founded, Mr. Chen Dan injected the idea and culture of "focusing on one thing" into it, and it developed and achieved success.
The second lecture on entrepreneurship is "Zero-distance contact' Win in China' —— Win in the third place in China, Dou Dahai". As early as the summer vacation, I watched CCTV-2' s Win in China. "Winning in China" is a competition column for entrepreneurs. Every entrepreneur takes his own business plan to participate in a round of elimination, and the last few can get millions of venture capital. This column is very good and I like it very much. The guest of this lecture, Mr. Dou Dahai, is also a doctoral student at Tongji University School of Economics and Management, whom I met on TV during the summer vacation.
Tell me about an episode in this lecture. When I walked into the venue, I saw the audience in suits and ties. My roommate Zhu Qianfei and I found that the student sportswear we were wearing was very uncoordinated. I sat down and asked the seniors around me, only to know that many of them were studying for master's degree, doctor's degree and even MBA. I told Zhu Qianfei the news, and he said, "Only in this way can we see higher and farther than our peers." This is really unusual, so I am relieved happily. ...
Teacher Dou Dahai first talked about the experience of participating in the competition and talked a lot. Two things touched me: one was "passion and resilience". He said that he liked the words of Mr. Ma Yun, president of Alibaba, that "temporary passion is worthless, only permanent passion can make money". Yes, only lasting passion runs through the whole process of starting a business can you achieve the final success, and a temporary passion may only be failure! The other is "education and entrepreneurship". He said that an entrepreneur's education is not necessarily related to his entrepreneurial success. Too many entrepreneurs who didn't go to college finally succeeded. On the contrary, graduates from excellent universities often fail to start their own businesses. The reason, I think, can be explained by the "zero mentality" mentioned by Mr. Chen Dan: the more outstanding people in the past, the more they can't bear the mentality of starting from scratch, the more they can't be arrogant and impetuous, and often they can't face all kinds of difficulties in starting a business like others, and eventually they will fail.
After listening to these two lectures on entrepreneurship, I found that the deeper you go, the more difficult it will be for any industry, including entrepreneurship that is not an industry-nothing can be easily successful.
I also have a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship. I think, whether we start a business in the future or not, we are all running on the road like thousands of entrepreneurs in Qian Qian. We should keep the passion of starting a business and bring it into play, carry forward the spirit of struggle and learn the philosophy of life in starting a business.
Finally, I want to write the lyrics of the theme song "On the Road" of "Win in China" and encourage myself!
the other day
I have to go on my way for an uneasy heart.
For the survival of self-esteem, for the proof of self.
The sadness on the road has melted into my eyes.
The dilemma of the mind has become my firmness.
Take my inner voice on the road
On the way, only for the people I am with.
On the road is the journey of my life.
On the way, only for those who warm me.
Someone who warms me
