The five institutes are: Beijing University of Political Science and Law (now China University of Political Science and Law), Southwest University of Political Science and Law (now Southwest University of Political Science and Law), northwest university of politics and law (now northwest university of politics and law) and Zhongnan University of Political Science and Law (now East China University of Political Science and Law). Today, the "Fifth Academy" has developed into a multidisciplinary university of political science and law.

The four departments are: Peking University Law Department, Renmin University Law Department, Jilin University Law Department and Wuhan University Law Department. Now they are all changed into law schools and become "heavyweight" colleges in their universities.

2. Lawyers

Lawyer is not only the counterpart field of law major, but also not as difficult as civil servants, and the working environment is not as boring as public security, procuratorial and legal institutions, so it has always been the first choice of many law predecessors.

3. Company Legal Adviser

At present, the company's legal adviser is the most concentrated part of the employment of law graduates, mainly serving the legal affairs department, legal consulting department and intellectual property department of enterprises.
