Because of its wide range, crisp and solid timbre, soft and bright midrange and mellow bass, the sound of pipa has a strong national color, and the mixed timbre combined with other instruments is also very suitable. Therefore, it occupies a certain position in both national bands and Chinese and western mixed-sound bands.
