Jaco, Han nationality, native of Shaanxi,1was born in May, 1972 in party member, the Communist Party of China. 200 1 and 1 obtained the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering, City University of Hong Kong, and studied under Professor Shiyuan Wang. He focused on speech recognition in noisy environment and published 7 papers in this field. I participated in a natural science fund project and a research grants Council fund project in Hong Kong. Since July, 20001year, I have been teaching at Nankai University. At present, he is an associate professor, vice president and director of the speech processing laboratory of Nankai University.
