At present, Tianjin University has become a high-level research university with strong faculty, distinctive discipline characteristics, first-class education quality and scientific research level in China and great influence in the world. In discipline construction, a discipline layout with work as the center, the combination of science and engineering, and the coordinated development of economy, management, literature and law has been formed. There are 18 colleges, 5 1 undergraduate majors, 92 doctoral programs, 15 1 master programs and 19 post-doctoral research stations. There are 20 first-level disciplines with the right to confer doctoral degrees; There are seven national key disciplines in the first-level discipline, namely: optical engineering, instrument science and technology, material science and engineering, architecture, hydraulic engineering, chemical engineering and technology, management science and engineering, covering 265,438+0 disciplines; In addition, there are two disciplines and eight national key disciplines, namely: fluid mechanics, mechanical design and theory, power machinery and engineering, power system and automation, microelectronics and solid-state electronics, communication and information systems, detection technology and automation devices, and structural engineering. 1.In 2009, Tianjin University plans to recruit about 2,850 graduate students, of which about 30% are recommended to be exempted from exams, and the proportion of different majors is different. There are about 150 MBA students in the national entrance examination. Our school allocates the number of enrollment plans according to the colleges, and the number of enrollment plans for each major is determined by each college according to the students' situation before the re-examination (the number of enrollment announced in the catalog of enrollment majors is determined by our school according to the number of enrollment plans in 2008, and the actual enrollment number in 2009 is subject to the number of enrollment plans approved by the Ministry of Education).
2. Examination methods, conditions and examination subjects.
The examination methods of our school in 2009: national unified examination, MBA joint examination, and the new graduates recommend exemption from the examination.

Condition 3 Applicants must meet the following conditions: a. Minor in all major undergraduate courses; B. The scores of the two major undergraduate courses added in the re-examination must meet the professional score requirements.
4. Generally, the age is not more than 40 years old (born after August 30th, 1969), and the age of candidates applying for entrusted training is not limited.
5. Physical health status meets the medical examination requirements stipulated by Tianjin University.
For details of the four examination subjects in the national unified examination, please refer to the 2009 Professional Catalogue of Postgraduate Admissions (pedagogy and pharmacy are the three examination subjects), among which political theory, foreign languages, mathematics (I), mathematics (II), mathematics (III), comprehensive pedagogy, psychology and computer science are put forward by the examination center of the Ministry of Education in a unified or joint way, and other subjects are put forward by our school, which provides the examination outline of self-propositional subjects.

The examination subjects are English and comprehensive ability, which are jointly proposed by the Ministry of Education.
(III) Recommended exemption for fresh graduates: In 2009, no more than 30% of the students admitted to all enrollment majors in Tianjin University were recommended to be exempted from examination. Welcome outstanding fresh graduates from national key universities to apply for exemption from the examination recommended by our graduate students. Three. Scholarship introduction
Our school continued to implement the postgraduate scholarship system in 2009. Graduate scholarships are open to full-time and part-time graduate students. Postgraduate scholarships are mainly used to finance the training expenses and living expenses of outstanding graduate students during their study.
Postgraduate scholarships set up corresponding scholarship systems according to different academic years. Postgraduates who apply for master's and doctoral degrees can enjoy the corresponding doctoral scholarships after being confirmed to be qualified for master's and doctoral degrees.
The scholarship system is as follows:
1. In the first academic year after the postgraduate entrance examination, the school set up three grades of scholarships. Evaluation of postgraduate scholarship for the first academic year: the unified recruitment of candidates is mainly determined according to their initial and re-examination results.
2. It is recommended to study for a master's degree without examination, and you can get a second-class scholarship directly in the first year after admission.
3. In the second or third academic year after the postgraduate entrance examination, the school will set up four grades of scholarships. In the second academic year, the evaluation of graduate scholarships is the responsibility of the college or discipline, mainly based on the comprehensive performance one year after admission. Four. Registration method and time

(2) Candidates who apply for the majors of art, design and fine arts in our school must choose the examination center of Tianjin University.
Candidates for the MBA National Entrance Examination must choose "Tianjin University" to register for the Times test center.
(4) The selection of registration points for students who are recommended to be exempted from the examination shall be carried out according to the requirements of the local provincial admissions office and the relevant departments of the recommended school.
Verb (abbreviation of verb) re-examination, adjustment and admission
1. Re-examination: All candidates to be admitted must take the re-examination. The retest score is determined by our school. The second interview time is generally in late March 2009. Please refer to the enrollment professional catalogue for written examination subjects, and the examination outline of written examination subjects can be found on the website of our college. Candidates with the same academic level need to take two additional undergraduate courses (written test) during the second interview.
2. Adjustment: when the re-examination score of our school is reached, but the number of enrollment plans for registered majors is full, it can be adjusted to a similar major in our school according to the adjustment regulations of the Ministry of Education. Candidates who meet the requirements of the retest score line of the Ministry of Education but are not admitted to our school can be transferred to other schools according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education.
3. Admission: According to the enrollment plan issued by the Ministry of Education in that year, according to the candidates' initial and re-examination results, combined with their usual academic performance, ideological and political performance, professional quality and physical health, our school will select the best candidates.
Six, enter oneself for an examination and admission categories
(1) Application category:
1. Non-directional students in the national plan: the training funds are allocated by the central government. Candidates must transfer their personal files, household registration and salary to our school and choose their own jobs after graduation. This category is only applicable to non-working candidates.
2. Targeted students in the national plan: the training funds are allocated by the central government. Candidates must leave their personnel files, household registration and salary relations in their work units. At the time of admission, the orientation unit must sign a contract with our school, and the candidates will return to work in the orientation unit after graduation. This category is only applicable to candidates who are separately planned by the Ministry of Education.
3. Non-state-planned entrusted training of students: the training funds are provided by the entrusted training unit. Candidates leave their personal files, household registration and salary relations in the entrusted training unit. At the time of admission, the entrusted training unit must sign a contract with our school. After graduation, candidates will be employed according to the contract. This category applies only to on-the-job candidates.
(2) Admission category:
According to the provisions of the scholarship system of Tianjin University, the postgraduate enrollment in 2009 is divided into two categories: non-on-the-job and on-the-job:
1, part-time postgraduate: candidates must transfer personnel files, household registration, salary relations, etc. Go to Tianjin University and choose your own job after graduation.
2. On-the-job master students: All on-the-job candidates are admitted according to the entrusted training, and the training funds are provided by the entrusted training unit. Except for the colleges and majors listed in the above table, the academic system of all majors in other colleges is 2.5 years. There are two ways for freshmen to choose a tutor after entering school. Except MBA according to the relevant regulations of the school, all other majors are full-time full-time study.
Eight, other considerations
