National english contest for college students. National english contest for college students (? NECCS) is a comprehensive English competence competition for college students, which is jointly sponsored by TEFLChina, the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language and the Foreign Language Teaching Research Association of colleges and universities, and hosted by English Counseling Newspaper, Examination and Evaluation Magazine. National english contest for college students was founded in 1999 once a year. Every year, more than 20,000 college students from 3 1 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) 1200 colleges and universities in China participate in this competition. The content of this competition mainly includes the basic knowledge of English and the skills of reading, listening, speaking, writing and translation, especially the comprehensive ability of English.
