The number of undergraduates in Tsinghua is about 20,000, including 8,003 graduates from Tsinghua University in 2022, an increase compared with previous years.

Tsinghua University ("Tsinghua" for short), located in Haidian District, Beijing, is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It ranks among the national "double first-class", "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project" and is selected as "201Plan" and "Everest Plan".

Tsinghua School, the predecessor of the school, was founded in 19 1 1. The name of "Tsinghua" originated from the place name of the school site "Tsinghua Campus", which was a preparatory school for studying in the United States founded by the government in the late Qing Dynasty. The funds for its establishment came from 1908, part of boxer indemnity returned by the United States.

19 12 was renamed Tsinghua school. 1928 changed its name to National Tsinghua University. 1937, moved south to Changsha, and jointly established the National Temporary University of Changsha with the National Peking University and the private Nankai University. /kloc-moved to Kunming in 0/938 and changed its name to National Southwest Associated University. 1946 moved back to Tsinghua campus.
