The school began to recruit master students in 1978, and was approved by the State Council as the first batch of master degree awarding units in 198 1. In 2003, it was granted the right to confer doctoral degrees. In 2009, it began to recruit full-time professional master's degree students, and in 20 17, it began to recruit part-time professional degree students. At present, the school has more than 6,500 doctoral and master students.

In 2023, it is planned to recruit 2 100 full-time graduate students and 205 part-time graduate students. The actual enrollment plan is subject to the Ministry of Education.

The academic system of full-time academic graduate students in our school is 3 years; Two full-time professional degree categories, such as finance, library and information science, have a master's degree system of 2 years, and other full-time professional degree graduate students have a master's degree system of 3 years; Part-time postgraduate education system is 3 years; Included in the "rural school master of education teacher training special plan" of the master of education system for 4 years.
