In order to feel the pulse of history, our group came to Wuhan Tanhualin. In the charm of the old street, we realize a little bit that the heavy wheel of history passes through our memory, leaving behind our endless thoughts and reverie. When our thoughts slowly walk into history with the stone road in the old street, we are heavy.
Tanhualin is located in the northeast corner of the old Wuchang, between the northern foot of Huayuan Mountain and the southern foot of Xiejiao (also known as Mingcheng Mountain) within the city wall, and runs east-west along the two mountains. Tanhualin in the calendar refers to the eastern section connected with the Gejiaying exit. 1946, Wuchang local * merged Kevin·Z Street and Youjia Lane, west of Gejiaying exit, into Tanhualin, whose street name has been in use ever since. At present, Tanhualin Street starts from Zhongshan Road in the east and ends at Desheng Bridge in the west, with a total length of 1200m. It is an old street gradually formed after the expansion and finalization of Wuchang City in the fourth year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (137 1).
The word "Tanhualin" used to mean that there are many small courtyards here. Tan Hua is well planted, hence its name, because the ancient flowers are interlinked with Hua Er characters. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was once a place where scholars from various counties in Hubei stayed in school to study hard for the exam. It was also the seat of the local military yamen in charge of the Qing court, and there was a camp named after Ge Jia. After the opening of Hankou in 186 1 year, the Tanhualin generation gradually formed a regional feature of mixing with the outside world and living next to each other. Missionaries from Italy, Britain, the United States and Switzerland have successively preached, run schools and treated here. Influenced by western culture and bourgeois values of freedom, equality and fraternity, the first public library discipline in China was established here. A group of democratic fighters formed the earliest anti-Qing and anti-feudal revolutionary group in Hubei.
The Yuanshan Party led by Wu Luzhen, the Daily Bulletin led by Liu Jing 'an, the Huanggang Military Academy led by Xiong Shili and the Youth League Society led by Liang Yaohan were born here one after another. These groups produced a large number of people with lofty ideals in Wuchang Uprising in 19 1 1. 1920 February, Chen Duxiu was invited to give a speech in Tanhualin, which marked the official landing of * * * doctrine in Hubei. 192 1, in the private Wuhan middle school in the block, Dong, Chen Tanqiu and Li emerged as one of the * * * Theory of Three Represents.
No.32 Tanhualin is a well-preserved European-style building, a single house, where a TV series was filmed. Looking at the patio from the door, stained glass and carved railings are all exotic.
In this old house, Gong Liu, the leader of * * *, led Zhao Shimei and other three young students from Hubei Industrial Middle School to design and produce the flag of the Revolution of 1911-"Ninety-angle and Eighteen-Star Flag".
The former site of the Third Hall of the Political Department of the Military Commission of the National Government is located in Wuhan No.14 Middle School, which is an early school building in China. 1938, with the cooperation of the state, the political department moved to Wuhan, and three pavilions were established, with Guo Moruo as the director and Zhou Enlai, the vice minister of the political department, as the direct leader, bringing together more than 300 cultural elites. At that time, most of the houses in the three pavilions had been destroyed, leaving only a two-story building with brick and wood structure, which was the staff housing of that year.
The campus of No.14 Middle School is the site of Fengcang built by Lin Zexu, Governor of Huguang. 1903- 1907, Zhang Zhidong started public primary schools and secondary schools successively. 19 12 was a provincial No.1 middle school, and now it belongs to 14 middle school.
Here, there are traces and memories left by revolutionary ancestors. In this atmosphere, we read the breath of history little by little. Crossing the ancient streets and alleys and putting ourselves in the history make us deeply moved and sighed.
Tan is the birthplace of the nine-pointed star flag, the representative place of the Revolution of 1911 and the representative place of the revolutionary spirit. Its existence itself is an interpretation of the revolutionary spirit. Without a bloodless revolution, the pursuit of freedom will pay a corresponding price. We enjoy freedom, but we can't forget our efforts and sacrifices. Today, we are walking on this old street and savoring this artistic conception.
From the first shot of Huanghuagang to the birth of the flag with nine horns and eighteen stars, our revolutionary ancestors explained the spirit and fighting spirit of reformers with their lives. The Revolution of 1911 wiped out the Qing Dynasty, ended the monarchy (or absolute monarchy) for more than 2,000 years, established the bourgeoisie and the state, made democracy and consciousness deeply rooted in people's hearts, and dealt a blow to imperialist forces, objectively created conditions for the development of the bourgeoisie, and was also an important part of the Asian national liberation movement at that time. We can't forget, let alone ignore, the efforts and sweat of our ancestors. What we remember is their spirit and pursuit.
What we should inherit is the revolutionary spirit. Today, in this peaceful era, as the fresh blood of college students and the party, how we should carry forward the revolutionary spirit is worthy of our consideration.

After studying party classes for a period of time, we should organize a practical activity to apply the theoretical knowledge we have learned to practice and deepen our understanding of the party's guiding ideology.
We have experienced the spiritual baptism of classroom training in party classes and the experience of practical activities in party classes. Because there was not much innovation in the previous practical activities, I chose a relatively novel activity arrangement. First of all, we hung a banner in front of our canteen to explain the concept of our group, so that passers-by would be interested in communicating with us. Through exchanges, we have a comprehensive understanding of both sides and a profound understanding of the party. Then our group went to the community to carry out community activities. In the community, we first told the community leaders the purpose of our visit. Then, under his leadership, we carried out community practice activities, helped the community to carry out sanitation and cleaning activities, and communicated with them, which fully reflected the principles and purposes of our party and served the people wholeheartedly. In the communication with the leaders of community party organizations, we learned from them the composition of party groups in the community and the role played by the party in daily life. We learned a lot in the communication with the canteen door.
In this practical activity, we learned the spirit of unity and cooperation. It takes a lot of time and energy for a person to finish so much work. And a lot of work is about efficiency, and time is limited. To complete the work, everyone must unite and divide the work reasonably, so that the work can be carried out in an orderly manner. In this respect, I think we have done a good job in this practical activity.
This party class practice has given me a more comprehensive and profound understanding of the nature, guiding ideology, basic theory and knowledge of the party, further corrected my motivation to join the party, and at the same time enhanced my sense of mission and historical responsibility. This activity made me realize that we should not treat the basic theory of the party on paper, but really grasp its connotation. Any theory and policy system put forward by our party has its historical inevitability, which is the result of our party's persistence in keeping pace with the times and is guided by Marxism–Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, Theory of Three Represents and building a harmonious society. Their aim is to build socialism with China characteristics and safeguard the fundamental interests of the broad masses of the people. These theories and policies don't just sit and talk, as I thought before, but come from practice, are tested in practice, and finally guide practice.
This is not only a party class practice, but also a spiritual baptism and sublimation. We are happy to live in this era. We live in a peaceful era, without war and smoke. However, as contemporary college students, we can't forget who created such a happy life for us and who blocked the possible haze for us.
