1. Jilin University, referred to as Jida, is located in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province. It is a comprehensive research-oriented national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and directly managed by the central government. It is the national "double first-class", "2 1 1 project" and "985 project" key construction.
It was selected into the National New Engineering Research and Practice Project, the National College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program, the National Model University for Deepening Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform, and the China Municipal Government Scholarship Receiving Institution for Overseas Students in China. It is one of the first 22 universities in China to set up graduate schools, and is an important member of Asia-Pacific International Education Association, 2 1 Century Academic Alliance and China-Russia Jiaotong University Alliance.

Yanbian University, referred to as Yanda for short, is located in Yanji City, the capital of Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture, Jilin Province, which has the reputation of "hometown of education". Co-founded by the people of China, the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jilin Province, it is a key university under the national "2 1 1 project".
Northeast Normal University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), located in Changchun, Jilin. Founded in 1946, formerly known as Northeastern University, it is the first comprehensive university founded by China * * * Production Party in Northeast China.
Northeast Normal University is one of the first batch of national "2 1 1 project" key construction universities, national "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform", "double-class" world-class discipline construction universities and "1plan" members.

1, Northeast Normal University was founded in 1946, formerly known as Northeastern University, and it is the first comprehensive university founded by China * * * Production Party in Northeast China. 1950 was renamed northeast normal university according to the needs of national education development. 1958 was placed under the management of Jilin Province and renamed as Jilin Normal University. 1980 was re-assigned to the Ministry of Education and renamed Northeast Normal University.

Jilin University was founded in 1946 and 1952, and became the first comprehensive university founded by China * * * production party after the founding of the People's Republic of China. 1960 was listed as a national key university by the State Council. In 2000, Jilin University, Jilin University of Technology, Bethune Medical University, changchun university of science and technology and Changchun University of Posts and Telecommunications merged to form a new Jilin University. In 2004, the former China People's Liberation Army Quartermaster University was transferred and merged.
Yanbian University, founded in 1949, is one of the earliest universities established by the Chinese Production Party in minority areas. It once belonged to the Ministry of Higher Education of the State Council, and 1957 was assigned to Jilin Province. From August 65438 to August 0958, Yanbian University was divided into Yanbian University, Yanbian Medical College, Yanbian Agricultural College and Yanbian Institute of Technology.
1996 With the approval of the former State Education Commission, the former Yanbian University, Yanbian Medical College, Yanbian Agricultural College, Yanbian Normal College, Yanbian Branch of Jilin University of Arts and Yanbian University of Science and Technology (to be established) merged to form a new Yanbian University.
