1. What's the difference between the unified examination of College English (a), (b) and (c)?

The unified examination of College English (A), (B) and (C) is divided according to students' majors:

The syllabus of College English (A) is suitable for English majors at the starting point of senior high school and junior college.

The syllabus of College English (B) is suitable for undergraduates majoring in other majors except English and art.

The syllabus of College English (C) is suitable for art undergraduate students at the starting point of senior high school and junior college.

2. What's the difference between College English (B) and College English Level 1, 2 and 3?

Many students often confuse College English I, College English II and College English III with College English (B) Test. In fact, the former is a course offered by online college, while College English (B) is a unified examination.

3. What questions and scores are there in the unified examination of College English (B)?

Part one: communicative language; (**5 small questions, 3 points for each small question, full mark 15).

The second part: reading comprehension; (** 10 small questions, 2 points for each small question, out of 20 points).

The third part: vocabulary and structure; (**5 small questions, 2 points for each small question, full score 10).

4. Can College English (B) be exempted from the exam? What conditions need to be met?

1. Students with bachelor degree or above in national education series (including undergraduate courses) may be exempted from all the unified examination subjects.

2. Except for English majors, those who have obtained CET-4 or above certificates (the certificate requirements are before 10/2006) and those who have taken the reformed CET-4 and CET-6 exams and scored 420 points (before 1 0/2006).

College English (B) can be exempted if it has passed PETS-3 or above, passed the written test and passed the English test for adult education degree organized by the provincial education administrative department. (Note: After June 65438+1 October1in 2006, CET-4 and CET-6 will no longer be used as the exemption condition for the unified examination of College English (B). )

3. Non-English majors who have reached the age of 40 at the time of enrollment are exempt from College English (B). "At least 40 years old at the time of enrollment" refers to the age calculated by the date of birth on the student ID card and the actual enrollment date of the online education college of the pilot university.

4. Except for English major candidates, ethnic minority students whose household registration is within the prescribed range can be exempted from taking College English (B). The confirmation of their national identity shall be subject to the records on their identity cards.

5. Those who have participated in the unified examination and passed the examination may be exempted from the subjects that have been tested.

6. Subjects that have passed the unified examination at the next higher level can be exempted from the examination (such as College English (A) and College English (B)).

5. How to apply for the exemption of College English (B)?
