Beijing language and culture university, referred to as "Northern Language" for short, is an institution of higher learning directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It has been selected into the national project of building a high-level university graduate student, the project of key disciplines with characteristics, the demonstration base for studying in China of the Ministry of Education, and the recipient institution of the China Municipal Government's scholarship for studying in China.
