This holiday, I read the Fifth Discipline by Dr. Peter Senge and wrote down my experience.

The Fifth Discipline by Dr. Peter Senge has his own unique views on each discipline, and the combination of the five disciplines is just right, pointing out the close relationship between individuals and organizations, which makes people deeply feel after reading it: self-transcendence, improving mental model, establishing common ideals, team learning and overall thinking.

1. Self-transcendence. The cultivation of self-transcendence is to establish a personal "vision", maintain creative tension, see structural conflicts clearly, face the truth honestly, and learn to use the subconscious. Only those who can surpass themselves can realize their wishes continuously. I think self-transcendence is a kind of spiritual strength. If a person wants to realize a certain wish, he must first have the wish of "I want to realize it". The stronger this desire is, the greater the chance of realization. For those who can surpass themselves, their attitude towards life is like a sculptor, and they devote themselves wholeheartedly to innovation and transcendence. This is real learning. Encourage others to pursue the power of "self-transcendence", that is, you should seriously pursue self-transcendence first.

2. Improve the mental model. Mental models are many assumptions, prejudices, even images and impressions deeply rooted in our hearts, which affect how we understand the world and take actions. We are usually unaware of our mental model and its influence on behavior. Learning how to open our mental model, examine it and improve it will help to change our existing understanding of how the world around us works. The purpose of improving mental model is to express one's thoughts effectively, open one's mind and accept others' thoughts. In short, in a group, everyone has different ideas. The successful cooperation of a team requires us to open our hearts and accept other people's ideas and opinions. Only in this way can we open the door and window to success.

3. Establish the ideal of * * *. An ideal of * * * is a vision sincerely pursued by all members of a group, which reflects the personal vision. And this ideal of * * * is the "cohesion" in the team. This kind of cohesion can be infinitely magnified, and it is a concept that transcends the individual and rises to the height of the team. Vision has a powerful driving force. In the process of pursuing the vision, people will naturally have the courage to do whatever they have to do for the vision. Systematic thinking is fertile ground for building a common vision, and its cultivation needs the support of systematic thinking.

4. Team learning. Team learning is a process of developing the overall collocation of group members and the ability to achieve the same goal. There is an experiment: in a team, everyone participates seriously, and everyone's IQ is above 120, while the collective IQ is only 60. Why? The practice of team learning is to deal with this dilemma. The practice of team learning begins with "in-depth discussion" In-depth discussion is the ability of all members of a team to express their thoughts without reservation and enter into real thinking after thinking about all the problems. In other words, let ideas communicate freely in groups, so as to find insights far deeper than personal thinking. At the same time, in in-depth discussion, everyone can get several times more ideas than himself. Ideas can be transmitted, and ideas in different directions can make people smarter.

5. Think globally. Groups and other human activities are a system, and they also participate in subtle and closely related actions, which affect each other and take several years to fully show. We are part of the group, so we should always think about the wishes of the group. Being in a group, it is difficult to see everything clearly, and sometimes you need to sacrifice your own interests to protect the interests of the group. And we should think about the value orientation of the group from the overall macro perspective, and then adjust our own value orientation to achieve the balance between individual value and overall value.

Of course, each group has its own characteristics. Dr. Peter Senge's point of view is that we should develop learning teamwork. More importantly, we should learn the theory we need from it and apply it to practice, so as to truly apply what we have learned.

Recently, I also read another book, Meditations, which is a book written with the soul. People can see the world through their eyes, but there is one dead corner: themselves. Therefore, you can never see yourself with your eyes and talk to yourself. We can only look at the past with our hearts and reflect on the past. It is never easy to reflect on yourself and talk to yourself. It needs absolute sincerity, peace and peace of mind, and extraordinary and decisive courage. In this meditation, the author seems to be an unusually severe and peaceful person standing in front of the mirror, warning himself in the mirror. This is not a simple inner monologue and emotional talk, but a dialogue with oneself and a warning to oneself by dissecting the soul. For example, he said to himself in the book, "You wronged yourself, you wronged yourself, my soul, and you will never have a chance to glorify yourself again. Everyone's life is enough, but your life is coming to an end. Your soul has not taken care of itself, but pinned your happiness on other souls. " He always tortures himself in such books.

Meditation is an honest and simple philosophical book. The author described his profound understanding of the universe, individual, time, mind, nature, thought, behavior, life and death in plain words. There is no deliberate obscure speculation, no tedious preaching, but serious and peaceful exhortation and admonition to encourage him to be patient. I briefly summarized it. Meditation is about these things: the universe is fluid, time is fleeting, fame and fortune are short-lived, and the only choice for people is to grasp the life they are living now; No matter where a person retires, it is better to retire to his own mind, with more peace and less distress. Peace is the order of the mind. The soul should take good care of itself, suppress all aimless and worthless thoughts and a lot of curious and malicious emotions, so that wisdom can only be used for honest actions, and shape itself all the time to achieve the freedom of integration with satisfaction, simplicity and modesty; We should live according to the same nature as human beings, limit our actions and activities to the range beneficial to society, and pursue the perfection of morality such as justice, temperance, kindness and calmness. Man is a part of nature, so we should piously acquiesce in the existing conditions, nobly endure misfortune and pain, and accept change, and death is also a part of change; People exist for each other and should do good for common interests. These views are undoubtedly a good medicine for us modern people who come and go in a hurry and struggle. In Meditation, I seem to have read the smiling face of the Buddha, the kindness of Confucius and Mencius, the quietness of Laozi and Zhuangzi, and even got a glimpse of the ideas of tolerance, equality, rationality, justice and harmony advocated by building a harmonious society today. It can be seen that true wisdom transcends the times, regions, religions and races.

This golden book, with a solemn and unyielding spirit, bears the burden of being a man and directly helps people live a better life. Laurent, a Frenchman, pointed out that Kelole made people have such a simple belief: in the face of the universe and nature, a noble moral conscience cannot be changed by any race, country, revolution, migration or discovery. According to meditation, everything is interrelated, and this bond is sacred. Almost nothing has nothing to do with other things. Because everything is cooperative, they combine to form the same universe (order). He also pointed out that rational animals exist for each other, so the first principle in human structure is the principle of friendship. Everyone should be friendly to their own kind, realize that they come from the same source, tend to the same goal, and all should do behaviors beneficial to society. In addition to emphasizing human rationality, he also emphasized human sociality, arguing that human beings cannot exist without society and the whole. Separating yourself from others, or doing anti-social things, is like turning yourself into a hand or foot separated from your body. If this happens, we should devote ourselves to reuniting ourselves with the whole. There are many touching philosophies in his emphasis on human virtue, such as asking people to live according to their own nature and be a real, noble and moral person. Special emphasis on virtue requires no reward and no guidance from others. We should not only make our behavior noble, but also make our motives pure and give up all useless and trivial ideas.

This philosophy book has many bright spots and gives me a lot of enlightenment: good character shines in good inheritance. We should also take this as a mirror, learn to be good at learning from others' strengths, enrich our knowledge, enhance our realm and carry forward our virtues; Treat yourself and others correctly and have an inclusive heart. When you encounter anything, you should first check whether you have done it right, don't blame others at will, and have a self-denial and tolerance heart. Understand that in the relationship structure between people, the first principle is friendship; Adhere to the overall situation and safeguard social interests, and limit your actions and activities to beneficial social behaviors, because this is in line with your nature; Treat life correctly and face life and death optimistically. The distance between life and death is short. Look at the time after you, then look at the time before you. In the face of this infinity, what is the gap between living for three days and living for three generations? Therefore, in a limited and precious life, we should do everything well and realize our life value with our own efforts.

In retrospect, the process of reading the Fifth Age and meditating is very similar to accepting the dual challenges of intelligence and endurance. Now, I have benefited a lot, and I am glad to have completed this challenge. Moreover, it is the pursuit of many students to review such immortal and practical masterpieces from time to time and learn wisdom and methods from them!

By studying the fifth discipline, I learned a lot of relevant knowledge and gained a deep understanding.

"Learning organization-the fifth discipline" is a complete and practical new enterprise management method which is combined with theory and practice by Dr. Peter Shengji, a contemporary management master at Si Long College of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who has trained and studied 4,000 enterprises for ten years. But the "cultivation" here refers not only to the cultivation of individuals, but also to the "cultivation" of organizations. So there is the first practice of "self-transcendence", the second practice of "improving mental model", the third practice of "establishing and sharing vision", the fourth practice of "group learning" and the fifth practice of "systematic thinking".

Over the years, discussions and works about learning organizations can be described as "sweating like a pig". Based on its definition and explanation of mental model, we can summarize the following characteristics: it is the cognition of the world implied in people's long-term memory; It is deeply rooted in our hearts, with images, assumptions and stories about ourselves, others, organizations and every level of the world; It includes people's psychological quality, way of thinking and mentality; Everyone's mental model is closely related to the growth environment, so everyone's mental model is different; A person's mental model is good, which means that the images in his mind are clear and accurate, so he is easy to succeed if he has a correct understanding of objective things, and vice versa. Because we rarely reflect and evaluate our mental models, these models are rarely changed; The world is changing, and the mental model is changing; What drives the world progress is mainly thought, which is formed under a certain mental model.

The word "the fifth discipline" is like jade, which is thought-provoking, arouses people's awareness, teaches people to fish and leads to success ... Today, I will only share with you the "mental model" that I feel most deeply at present to encourage them. Now, I have obtained the book "The Fifth Discipline". As the saying goes, "Reading a book a hundred times reveals its meaning". I firmly believe that she will open another window for me, guide my happy life and light up my bright future!

Perhaps this is unfair to many people, but this is life, this is society, and ideal fairness never exists. Du Lala's Promotion is a reference book for newcomers to the market or those who have worked hard for a period of time without background.
