The Business School of Guangxi University has 9 departments including Economics Department, International Economics and Trade Department, Finance and Taxation Department, Finance and Insurance Department, Business Administration Department, Financial Accounting Department, Agricultural Economic Management Department, Business Information Management Department and Tourism Management Department.

Guangxi University Business School was established in 1997. Its predecessor was the Economics Department of Guangxi University (the earliest economics department and major in Guangxi), which was founded in 1937. The first president was Mr. Li Da, a representative of the First National Congress, a famous thinker, politician and philosopher. At present, the college has two first-class disciplines, namely, Applied Economics and Business Administration, and one is Post-Doctoral Research Center of Applied Economics. 20 18, applied economics was listed in the list of world-class disciplines.
