Can Peking University Library survive off campus now?
At present, students from other schools are not allowed to enter Peking University Library. Students from our school must hold campus cards to enter.

Peking University Library, located in Summer Palace Road, Haidian District, Beijing, was established at 1898. There are more than 30 branch libraries with a total area of nearly 53,000 square meters and more than 4,000 reading seats. It is the first national university library in modern times and the largest university library in Asia.

By the end of 20 14, the collection of books in Peking University Library has exceeded 1 1 10,000 volumes, covering humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, technical sciences, literature, art and other disciplines and professional fields, with more than 20 languages including Chinese, English, Russian and Japanese.
