Before I met Miss Qiao, I heard from my friends many times about her hard work and dedication to cultural undertakings, which made people respect. From then on, I had the desire to interview Mr. Qiao. On a crisp autumn day in late autumn, I came to the county cultural center as scheduled and gently knocked on Mr. Qiao's door. Amid the warmth of the green tea aroma, the modest, kind and quiet teacher Joe told about the fun she experienced in the art garden. Her wise thoughts, unique style and noble quality are revealed from her speech, which is calm and fresh.

1955 Joe was born in yanggu, the hometown of tiger heroes. She loved painting since she was a child and gradually embarked on the road of art under the influence of her father. 65438-0975 was admitted to the Department of Chinese Painting of Shandong University of Arts, and received careful guidance from famous painters such as Yu Xining, Wang Qihua and Duan Gufeng. She systematically studied painting techniques, art theory, aesthetics and philosophy, which laid a solid foundation for her future artistic creation and fundamentally changed her creative concept. She took an active part in painting and calligraphy, dabbling in figures, landscapes, flowers and birds, and was only interested in peony. However, she knows that this kind of "Flower King" has been loved by countless literati, splashing ink and expressing emotion, and excellent works emerge one after another. However, how to find a new way in many peony paintings and draw your own style?

Joe believes that in order to be unique in peony creation, we must respect tradition and bring forth the new. She advocates: learn from everyone, learn from nature, and get the source of the soul. Over the years, she has not avoided the cold and heat, copied ancient and modern famous paintings, studied and understood them carefully, and tasted all three flavors. Masters who are good at painting peonies in history, such as Chen Boyang's liveliness, Xu Qingteng's whimsy, Badashan people's calligraphy deformation, Wu Changshuo's extraordinary tolerance, Qi Baishi's beauty of similarity and dissimilarity, and Wang Xuetao's combination of Chinese and Western, have all influenced her artistically to varying degrees and cast a solid traditional foundation. But instead of learning from the past, she learned from nature, seeking inspiration from heaven and earth, and collecting all the wonderful works to draft.

In order to push peony painting to a higher level, she went to the hometown of peony many times, lived in the farmhouse, and lived with peony day and night. In the peony garden, she walked in the morning dew, covered with sunset glow, observed its shape, imitated its state, thought its meaning and tasted its virtue, and gradually realized the charm and charm of peony. At the same time, unconsciously,

It has infiltrated its own cultural connotation into her blood, making her an artistic spokesperson in the subconscious, and her excellent works have been published repeatedly.

During the period of 1995, several classmates and teachers from Joe's college days also rushed to the China-Japan ink painting exhibition and exchange meeting in Jinan. In the meantime, Qiao Xiazhen waved his hand on a whim, and a "Peony Map" was completed in one go, which won everyone's applause. The peony in the painting gives people a strong momentum, just like the unstoppable spring breeze, giving people a feeling of spring. From different directions, she is organically combined, patchy, expressive, and ingenious in combining size, gathering and dispersing, and primary and secondary. In the use of ink and color, dry and wet shades, cold and warm, and the relationship between light and shade is also very elegant. Gorgeous flowers with ink leaves, darker flowers with bright green leaves, so there is a red, green and light main flower, charming but not flattering, gorgeous but not vulgar, which artistically embodies the essential attributes of peony. The students are also full of praise after reading it. Some say it's like Chen Boyang, some say it's like Wu Changshuo, and some say it's Rainbow Xue Tao. At this time, an 84-year-old teacher, Professor Wang Qihua, came to the front, studied it carefully, and said, "No one looks like herself", and happily wrote the title "A Chinese Odyssey is gorgeous, and the world is the first fragrance" on the peony painting she just drew. When the classmate asked the professor to write an inscription for Joe's upcoming solo exhibition, he was lost in thought and didn't agree immediately. The next day, he called his proud disciple to his side, pointed to the words on the table and said, "After careful consideration last night, I felt that the words' integrating the past and casting the present, bringing forth the new' were very suitable for you. I hope you will have more excellent works in the future. " Qiao Xiazhen holds the teacher's inscription in his hand, and his mood is very heavy. She knows that this is the teacher's evaluation of herself, as well as her request and hope.

She often thinks that if she wants to be a person first, she must strengthen her cultivation in culture and art. She reads all books, literature, art, philosophy and so on. And there is a saying that she is conscious of poetry as a book, and the work outside painting is particularly important. As Wu Changshuo said, "Painting depends on one breath". Growing up in Wusong, the hometown of fighting tigers.

Joe's peony paintings were also quite heroic in ancient times, bold and vigorous, and distinguished. Her latest work, Peony Four-leaf Screen, adopts four-foot strip layout, large-span modeling, different colors and smooth brushwork, which fully embodies peony's generous character and the author's profound connotation.

"The road is immersed in its Xiu Yuan, and I will search up and down." For many years, Joe has been studying hard and painting constantly. Up to now, more than 200 works have appeared in provincial and national newspapers and albums, and many works have participated in provincial and national art exhibitions. Outstanding artistic achievements have attracted wide attention from peers at home and abroad. 1998, her huge peony "East Wind Like the Sea" was collected by China People's Revolutionary Military Museum. In August of the same year, her portrait of Guo Xiangyan was collected by Tiananmen National Flag Guard. In 2000, her other two works were collected by Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and Great Hall of the People respectively. Her "Peony" won the second prize in the National Land Rover Cup Painting and Calligraphy Grand Prix, and "Wisteria" won the bronze prize in the works of artists and calligraphers in China. Some of his works are treasured by foreign friends such as the United States, Japan, South Korea and Singapore. Therefore, she was awarded the title of "Celebrity of China Painting and Calligraphy Artists" by the state.

Qiao is currently the curator of yanggu county Cultural Center, an associate researcher, a member of Shandong Branch of China Artists Association, a member of China Hanmo Culture Promotion Association, a special creative researcher of China Farmers' Painting and Calligraphy Research Association, a member of Qilu Artists Association, a vice chairman of Liaocheng Artists Association and a chairman of yanggu county Artists Association. Qiao has not only made great achievements in artistic creation, but also made great contributions to the excavation, collection, collation and research of folk art. She braved the cold and hot summer to travel all over the villages and towns of Yanggu, collated and excavated 130 pieces of folk art works, and set up a special exhibition hall of folk art exhibition of Shandong Provincial Department of Culture in Shanghai Art Museum, which was favored by fans at home and abroad and rewarded by ministries and agencies.

During the period of 1997, Ms. Sanshanling, director of China-China Art Research Association, came to their home to discuss Japanese folk art and saw the woodcut New Year pictures of Zhangqiu collected by Joe, which was full of praise. Later, she published Zhang Qiu's woodblock New Year picture Moonlight God in a famous Japanese folk magazine, which promoted the cultural and artistic exchanges between China and Japan with practical actions.

Some people say that wives are better than husbands. Mr. Yang Fengcun admits that he is the "spokesperson" of his wife. In fact, many reports about Joe were written by Mr. Yang, and many of them were adopted by China newspapers such as China Pictorial and Guangming Daily. Influenced by his wife, he not only completed his official duties, but also persistently pursued the art of calligraphy and painting, and his career was successful. Last September, his 120 calligraphy works were presented to 30 Korean leaders and entrepreneurs as precious gifts from the county government. Be highly praised. He also often writes poems on his wife's paintings, and the husband writes poems on his wife's paintings, which is a good match. In March 2003, Professor Wang Chuanming from the Chinese Department of Lanzhou University wrote a poem "A bunch of flowers" after collecting a peony. Peony "Xie:" Tianxiang national color fights cold, the beauty of blooming. The Sakura Garden in Weizi City, Yao Huang, is more focused on the village and the night. Flowers withered, and the first one was monopolized, resulting in passenger flow. In order to keep the spring scenery in the world, it is specially designed to be beautiful. Fine brushwork and heavy color have all been tried, repeated with a pen, and the meaning has been written. Send the picture frame from afar, and the husband will draw his wife, and the wall will be in perfect harmony. "

Speaking of this, Mr. Yang Fengcun, who is eloquent, doesn't know what to do. He walked into the studio with a strong ink fragrance, stood in front of his wife's painting case, and took an inscription: "Mo Hanqing" jumped out of the paper in one go, and his brushwork was euphemistic and smooth, like a cloud, his mind was smooth, his brushwork was free and easy, and he was eclectic. There was love, care and support for his wife between the lines.

Speaking of lovers who care for each other, Joe is full of gratitude. She claimed to be a happy person, met a bosom friend in her career, found a warm partner in her life and had a happy family. These are the foundations of her career success.

When I shook hands with Joe and his wife, it was the first time that the lights were on, and the ancient city under the night was even more charming. Although the interview time is very short, I admire and admire Mr. Qiao's personality charm and artistic achievements even more. I silently wish Miss Qiao and her family happiness and well-being, and wish this artist with both ability and political integrity a more brilliant artistic flower. like
