The Institute of Atomic and Molecular Studies is based on the Institute of Physics, and its major areas are atomic and molecular physics and condensed matter physics. The strongest one here is the State Key Laboratory of Superhard Materials.

Of course, the best condensed matter major is here. But there are no undergraduates here.
