Traffic information engineering and control is one of the two disciplines, which belongs to the first-class discipline of traffic and transportation engineering authorized by Chang 'an University. It is a national key discipline and a key construction discipline of "2 1 1 engineering". During the Ninth Five-Year Plan and the Tenth Five-Year Plan, more than 10 million yuan has been invested in discipline construction and laboratory construction. Expressway electromechanical system, expressway tunnel measurement and control simulation system, vehicle positioning and tracking monitoring system, traffic system simulation, intelligent measurement and control system and other R&D platforms have been built, which greatly improved the teaching and research conditions of the college.
