Hebei University of Technology, referred to as Hebei University of Technology, is located in Tianjin. It was jointly established by Hebei Provincial People's Government, Tianjin Municipal People's Government, China Municipal People's Government and Ministry of Education. Affiliated to Hebei Province, it is a national "double first-class" construction university and a national "2 1 1 project" key construction university.
It has successively been selected into the national "Basic Capacity Building Project of Central and Western Universities", the "Excellent Engineer Education and Training Plan" of the Ministry of Education, the first-class school of "National First-class University Construction" in Hebei Province, the Tianjin High-level Characteristic University Construction Project, the national public postgraduate program of building high-level universities, and the institutions where international students in China receive scholarships from the China government.
Hebei University of Technology was formerly Beiyang Technical School, which was founded in 1903. Later, it was renamed Zhili Higher Industrial School, Zhili Higher Industrial School, Zhili Public Industrial College, Hebei Provincial Industrial College and Hebei Provincial Institute of Technology.
Hebei Institute of Technology 195 1 merged with Beiyang University to form Tianjin University, 1958 resumed reconstruction, 1962 merged with Tianjin Institute of Technology to form a new Tianjin Institute of Technology, 197 1 renamed Hebei Institute of Technology,/kloc-0.

Qinhuangdao Branch of Northeastern University is an important part of Northeastern University, and it is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning officially approved by the Ministry of Education, which trains all kinds of senior professionals including undergraduates, master students and doctoral students.
1996, Qinhuangdao Branch officially undertook the first batch of "2 1 1 project" construction subprojects of Northeastern University. 1998, which was incorporated into the Ministry of Education with Northeastern University.
