Dongpo Academy, the earliest school in Qinzhou, was founded in the Qing Dynasty (thirty-four years of Kangxi) 1695, and is located in the Gudutou, Pingnan, outside Qinzhou. According to relevant records, after Feng Zicai returned to Qinzhou in Nanguan Town, he built Zhenlong Building in Longgang to make "the children of villagers all literate and capable, with two feathers of Qi Fei, and become pillars of the country", "in order to make mountains and rivers shine and talents come forth in large numbers". 1890 (16th year of Guangxu), in order to further revitalize Qinzhou's literary style, Li Shoutong moved Dongpo Academy to Zhenlong Building and renamed it Suifeng Academy. Sui An's "Strings Full of Feathers" has created a strong style of writing and trained a large number of talents for Qinzhou.
