Article 60 When a conscript retires from active service, he shall be paid a retirement fee in accordance with state regulations, which shall be accepted by the local people's government at or above the county level in the place where he is placed, and may be given economic subsidies according to local actual conditions.
After discharged from active service, the local people's governments at or above the county level shall organize them to participate in vocational education and skills training free of charge. Those who pass the examination shall be issued with corresponding academic certificates and vocational qualification certificates, and recommended for employment. Retired conscripts enjoy the preferential policies of the state to support employment.
Conscripts discharged from active service may enter secondary vocational schools without trial; Those who apply for ordinary colleges and universities and receive adult education enjoy preferential policies such as extra points; Those who are admitted to ordinary institutions of higher learning or secondary vocational schools within the time limit prescribed by the state shall enjoy the grants issued by the state.
Conscripts who have retired from active service, apply for positions in civil servants and institutions, and have served in active service in the army are regarded as grassroots work experience, and they are given priority in employment or employment under the same conditions.
During the period of active service, conscripts who have been awarded a second-class merit or above in peacetime or a third-class merit or above in wartime, who belong to the children of martyrs and are disabled due to war, are discharged from active service and arranged by the local people's government at or above the county level; During the period of work to be arranged, the local people's government shall issue living allowance in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state; I voluntarily choose to start my own business, which conforms to the provisions of paragraphs 1 to 4 of this article.
According to the level of economic and social development, the state adjusts the retirement pension standard in a timely manner. The funds needed for the resettlement of soldiers discharged from active service shall be borne by the central and local people's governments at all levels.
Article 61 Non-commissioned officers who have been discharged from active service for less than 12 years shall be placed in accordance with the methods stipulated in Article 60 of this Law.
Non-commissioned officers who have retired from active service and have served in active service for twelve years shall be arranged by the local people's government at or above the county level in the resettlement place; During the period of work to be arranged, the local people's government shall issue living allowance in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state; If I voluntarily choose to work independently, it shall be handled in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 1 to 4 of Article 60 of this Law.
Non-commissioned officers who have served in active service for 30 years or have reached the age of 55 shall be resettled and retired.
Non-commissioned officers who lose their ability to work due to war, duty or illness during their active service shall be placed in accordance with relevant state regulations.
