The National University of Singapore (NUS), founded in 1905, is located in Singapore and is a world-class top university in Singapore. Formerly known as the Medical College of the Straits Colony and Malaya Federal Government, it was merged into the National University of Singapore by the University of Singapore and Nanyang University in 1980.
